Surprised at the hate. Price is better than was being touted, performance is where we all pretty much expected and it is a very capable card. Whilst not the best of cards or prices, AMD have done well with a limited budget and gives Freesync owners a chance to turn the settings up in games.

OCUK were selling a Hybrid cooled EVGA 1080 for less than £500 recently.

Why would anyone pay £140 more for a GPU with equal performance to that?

Bit of a strange way to go about it considering you would have a card 30-40% quicker, quieter and use a lot less power whether you like NV or not.

It's not a complete train wreck. Vega 64 trades blows with 1080 but the 56 seems to be the golden boy if prices are good.

Power use and no doubt heat is a turn off tho.

I had a good idea about the performance and I wasn't wrong, what I'm disappointed with however, is the price. Possibly £80-£100 more expensive than what they should be imo.

About what I expected. I think I will wait for Volta. Not paying full price for 15 month performance. I could have gotten 1080 performance last year and more efficiently too.

No, that is the PowerColor one. Price has not changed on the Saphire.
