Must be lots of frustrated free sync screen owners out there struggling by with underpowered cards till now! Because thats about the the only sensible reason to pay these prices for the performance on offer considering heat power etc! Otherwise the only half sensible reason is the belief that AMD will squeeze more performance out of them in time compared to Nvidia cards. Can't say I regret playing the g sync premium given the wait and somewhat underwhelming performance.

AMD need to hang their head in shame. And Raja needs to find a line of work that he might actually be good at. Maybe over hyping and under delivering should be his new job? Oh he's done that here

Nvidia is better, but Vega56 is consuming the same amount of power as a RX580 whilst pipping the GTX1070(slightly).
Power consumption seems to vary a lot depending on which mode is used. A couple of reviews I've seen haven't had the time to test them all. Turbo mode seems to be a big power drain.

The internals of the AIO version look very premium, exact same cooler as the FE model which is similar to what was used on the fury duo. Pics in this article:

Well, looking at how the Vega 56 is not massively slower than a Vega64,I expect the aftermarket ones with better cooling probably won't be far off a Vega64,and it would not surprise me one bit if they draw a bit less power too.
