Happens all the time - they just want to get your pre-order money by being the first people taking orders. The don't have stock, prices, or specifications, but they have to put something on the webpage, so they grab whatever rumour or click-bait info is around and use that.
That's chart hasn't appeared before so would they construct it? Why would they fake a chart? They could just list the benchmarks.

I'm sure I saw that chart a couple of months ago. I suspect it was WCCFTech quoting a chinese webforum that had claims of early test samples being shipped to Taiwan, but I can't remember for sure. It's not a new chart, just a rumour resurfacing from weeks back.

I don't remember it being posted on here? It would've started a lot of discussion like it has today. Many of the results are genuine (published last month).

Edit
It can't have been two months as the benchmarks are only a month old.

So is it time to just buy an Xbox One X and call it a day on PC gaming?

Seriously? If so as much as I love console gaming and I really do, I really do think there is something more fun about keyboard and mouse for PC gaming. I wish the controller was as smooth, fast and precise.

I'm sure I've seen it before. It's also worth noting that AMD never compare their cards to Nvidia, only to their previous cards, so that can't be an AMD slide, it's been made up by someone. Like I said, there's no way Vega is just scraping in above a year old RX 480. That would make no sense at all.

I'd assume that would be the best card (approx. 13 TFLOPS).

The notes don't mention which FE card was used for the benchmarks.

That's why I believe everything else is nonsense. It's like a company has pieced together a chart of random pieces and published it like fact. Either way I hope we can agree that there's very little chance of Vega only barely beating a 5.7TFlop Polaris card if set up correctly.

Nope, I've definitely seen it before. It's also worth noting that AMD never compare their cards to Nvidia, only to their previous cards, so that can't be an AMD slide, it's been made up by someone. Please look at this link. A lot of the benchmarks are listed.

Are you talking about the chart from the retailer?
If you are they go their numbers from here; http://pro.radeon.com/en-us/vega-frontier-edition/.
Went live after the financial analyst day.

I agree there's stuff that doesn't add up, errors etc but some is definitley genuine. Remember it's using the gaming drivers in some of the benchmarks.
