So how fast is it?
The faster Vega FE is $1809 without taxes, $2160 with UK VAT.
Yeah, I expected FE to cost more because I expected the FE cards not just to be some Titan competitor. I guess AND are just not that confident in that market yet.
When even explained the math, there was no trickery about it, completely transparent what he was referring to. The numbers were published clear as day. Only AND fanboys tried to make it out as something is wasn't.
Taking into account all gpus including integrated and consoles, Nvidia is very much an underdog and needs as much support as possible. I always like to support the small guys.
Well, that is the logic some posters use!
You know D.P your coming off really biased here. Your one for pointing out all the facts and stuff. But your anti AMD and Pro nVidia no matter how much you admit it.
Ohh wait you did
Anyways It's not $2160 with UK Taxes because US does not have UK Taxes the UK does so its $1800 for watercooled FE which is around £1400 give or take so its UK Taxes ontop of that. Don't try to move goal posts or act like that's not what you said.
The Aircooled FE is way cheaper than what you first quoted me. Just admit when you are wrong.
Seems AMD instead want to market them against the Titan, hence the price is slightly lower than I anticipated.

Hopefully AMD bring out an absolute beast in the £250-300 range, a 1070 competitor will do, I'm stilling clinging on to my my 290, nothing from either team in 4 years has warranted me from changing

Can't see an HBM2 card being in the £250-300 range, more like £350-400.Hopefully AMD bring out an absolute beast in the £250-300 range, a 1070 competitor will do, I'm stilling clinging on to my my 290, nothing from either team in 4 years has warranted me from changing

It's all about the safe space, brah. Why would you ignore them? Why not skip them?

With Vega apparently offering "Excellent price/performance ratio" that would mean either they perform ok and are very cheap, or perform amazingly and are normally priced. Either way it doesn't sound bad.
They could also do with bundling it with a decent upcoming game.We need to factor in the cost of the 580 as AMD wont want it to lose it's place in the line up.
Recent mining crazy could well put a spanner in the works and price prices up.
With multiple retailers quoting the same TDP of 375W it proves it isn't a fake specification and has obviously been supplied by AMD.
Of course it could have been supplied in error. It might supposed to be 275W. Time will tell
