The faster Vega FE is $1809 without taxes, $2160 with UK VAT.

Yeah, I expected FE to cost more because I expected the FE cards not just to be some Titan competitor. I guess AND are just not that confident in that market yet.

When even explained the math, there was no trickery about it, completely transparent what he was referring to. The numbers were published clear as day. Only AND fanboys tried to make it out as something is wasn't.

You know D.P your coming off really biased here. Your one for pointing out all the facts and stuff. But your anti AMD and Pro nVidia no matter how much you admit it.

Ohh wait you did
Taking into account all gpus including integrated and consoles, Nvidia is very much an underdog and needs as much support as possible. I always like to support the small guys.;)

Well, that is the logic some posters use!

Anyways It's not $2160 with UK Taxes because US does not have UK Taxes the UK does so its $1800 for watercooled FE which is around £1400 give or take so its UK Taxes ontop of that. Don't try to move goal posts or act like that's not what you said.

The Aircooled FE is way cheaper than what you first quoted me. Just admit when you are wrong.

I guess you to your graphics card preferences far to seriously to understand a joke, even when it has a smily. Perhaps you should step away for the forum.and get a break from this.

The priced in the US excluded taxes, you have to add them on and the tax rate varies by state.

I have already admitted that the FE cards are cheaper than I expected, just slightly under the low end of what I suggested. I went on to explain why I thought they would cost more, that because AMD we're heavily marketing them towards professional, HPC and deep learning they would command a higher price. Seems AMD instead want to market them against the Titan, hence the price is slightly lower than I anticipated.

Hopefully AMD bring out an absolute beast in the £250-300 range, a 1070 competitor will do, I'm stilling clinging on to my my 290, nothing from either team in 4 years has warranted me from changing

They need to hurry the eff up. I'm running one of the 1070s from my mining rig in my gaming PC now 'cause I sold my Fury X (while the prices are still good) and I'm SO tempted to just buy a Ti for my pc so I can drop the 1070 back in the miner .... A month+ is a long time to go still =(

This thread is so much more enjoyable now that posts from ignored members are now hidden even if quoted by others :)

You've missed soo much good stuff! Popcorn and everything, and not even a single mention of wccftech! Now you're thinking, maybe I should take people off the ignore list, :p.

With multiple retailers quoting the same TDP of 375W it proves it isn't a fake specification and has obviously been supplied by AMD.
Of course it could have been supplied in error. It might supposed to be 275W. Time will tell :D

With Vega apparently offering "Excellent price/performance ratio" that would mean either they perform ok and are very cheap, or perform amazingly and are normally priced. Either way it doesn't sound bad.

We need to factor in the cost of the 580 as AMD wont want it to lose it's place in the line up.

Recent mining crazy could well put a spanner in the works and price prices up.

They could also do with bundling it with a decent upcoming game.

Nvidia has Destiny 2 promotion and Prey is a bit old now any other DX12/Vulkan showoffwhatmycardcando titles due out?

Wolfenstein Colossus or Evil Within 2 would be nice since I am looking forward to these and AMD are best buds with Bethesda.

Doubt it. If the AIBs are still working on it, they won't have told retailers and that info is probably still under NDA. If you told retailers now, the spec would leak everywhere because the retailers are customer facing. More likely is some webstore is quoting made up figures, and the rest have copied it just to get preorders. Isn't 375W exactly the max power limit supplied by the PCIe slot plus two power connectors?
