The anime thread sequel (it's still not as good as the Manga though),

@Kyo now you say that I think I will watch the early setting UC before getting to Unicorn. I will confuse myself if I start jumping around too much :p.

Really solid first season, dark dingy atmosphere coupled with characters that are fleshed out, motivated and have their own morals. Does throw in a little comedic aspect from time to time but not to a degree it undercuts the story at hand. Chainsaw man might be a good comparison? Though even as a fan of Chainsaw Man I'd argue Dorohedoro develops on characters a lot more and gives you more of a chance to connect with them. There's a reason it's got an 8 score on MAL for a reason and even while it's mostly if not entirely CGI, it doesn't take away from a really good story.
Loving this, cheers!

Have Chainsaw Man queued for next, anything else like these?

If you haven't seen it, Dororo is a criminally underrated series, I think it was 2019 that the new take on the series was aired? The original series aired in like 1969 (ha nice) and the original story is written by Tezuka Osamu (of Astro Boy fame). The 2019 series changes some of the source material in terms of getting to lengthen the story a bit? Regardless, a great action story with great animation/aesthetic and a really cool premise. Last I remember it was streaming on Amazon Prime? Was also animated by MAPPA so it's in good hands.

So got around to watching dorohedoro and I have to say it was a wild ride. Good thing I delayed watching this because apparently season 2 is out sometime this year. Deffo did not disappoint.

I watched The Colours Within at the cinema and enjoyed it. It is slow, which I didn't mind, it is stunningly animated, but my partner fell asleep and began to snore quite loudly!

I agree, it's great and whilst I would love it for him to totally kick butt, it's nice for him to actually doing some raid with more powerful people. I guess in the future will do raids with S-tier hunters yet.

It just gets better and better. Can't wait to see what happens next.

How is Dr. Stone S4? Enjoyed S1 but lost interest in S2 and did not bother after that, now S4 is out what is ppl opinion on it?
