About half way through the new Devil may cry anime, it's a retelling of young Dante in similar time period of DMC3.
A lot of Easter eggs to capcom games of course and there was a Easter egg to the red head from DMC2.
Enjoying the anime so far, it's only 8 episodes though.

I just watched the first episode of Sword of the Demon Hunter: Kijin Gentosho and I'm liking it so far.

@Kyo Yeah I knew nothing about it, so didn't really know what to expect, but its definitely hooked me after the first episode. I did read a bit of concerning comments about production worries, so hopefully its not cut short by anything like that.

No not just u, i found it boring as well. Its ok i guess but nothing special. Very generic with no real direction or arc which is my main gripe with forgettable characters.

Solo levelling was incredible. I hope season 3 comes ASAP (worrying info online suggesting no plans to make season 3 yet, I dont want to have to wait years and years!)

It's got action and suspense, but lacks in proper story build up and focusing/building on other characters. Pretty obvious he's winning when a new bad turns up and it's done in half an episode.

What was your favourite series from 2024? I'm looking to start something new. Just completed solo levelling, loved Frieren and Delicious in Dungeon. I'm a big lover of both sci fi and fantasy.
