Wasn't the current conflict a result of Israeli settlers taking more land illegally/evicting Palestinians? Israel has every right to defend itself, but it's pretty good at convincing people that they're being bullied by the Palestinians.

Why should anyone else care about "the children" when their own elected government clearly doesn't?
This is appeal to emotion nonsense that isn't even consistent. If you really cared about the people being used as human shields, you'd be advocating their leadership stop doing so at least as much as you complain about the other side hitting the human shields.

Dr Abu al-Ouf's 15-year-old son Omar is the only member of their family who survived the attack. He is currently being treated for his injuries and does not know that his parents and two siblings are dead.

You think Hamas and organisations don't use this tactic? If they don't how do you think they are still around because I am 100% sure the IDF would finish them in a day if they didn't hide and use civilians in this manner, usual tactics used by most Islamist movements in fighting countries they can't go toe to toe with.
