Clare is a clever girl, knows she's safe from square 1 and kept her mouth shut.
She also handled it very well when questioned as to why she was so quiet, everyone knows she was keeping her head down to avoid drawing attention to herself but managed to turn it around into a positive and say that she had learnt from the past and was trying to control herself.
Michael had been given the benefit of the doubt too many times IMO, I know (for some reason) SAS seemed to like the fact that he was young and with only 1 years experience (presumably to allow him to shape him into the mould he wants), but equally I thought it was a bit unfair to be bashing Helene with the "you're old and been in the corporate world for 7 years" stick. I wasn't aware that learning stops once you hit 30. Yet, I'm still waiting to see what she brings to the table - the worry is that she couldn't think of one good thing from the previous 10 weeks to highlight her strengths, she had to fall back on her CV.
I was literally cringing at Lucinda trying to sell the Aston Martin 'Zonda', I really can't see her going the distance. I know sweet FA about flowers, but if I was asked to sell them, I'd make damn sure I knew what they were. She's got good skills for certain environments, but equally has a bunch of weaknesses. I felt sorry for her in the early weeks (getting bullied by Jenny and Helene) but she does throw her toys out the pram when things don't go her way. Speaking of cringing, Michael was hilarious chasing that guy down the road!
Surprised the 10% discount thing didn't get pulled up at interview. Surely that's cheating (changing the price)?
Still continue to be impressed by Alex, as I've said before he gets results and can handle himself in the boardroom. Maybe not the greatest project manager but then IMO it's not a competition to the find the ultimate PM.
Final two for me at this stage should be Alex and, dare I say it, Claire.
