I assume the final is filmed after the 11th "You're Fired" show? Otherwise it negates the point of Lucinda stating who she thought would win since surely she already knows. Unless she has to sign an NDA and is pretending to guess, which would be rather pointless.

He put he was at uni for 2 years on his CV.
When asked how long he was at uni, he said 2 years.
So it was an outright fabrication, confirmed by a lie - that's BS if ever I saw it.

Not only does it completely undermine his integrity, it also sets alarm bells ringing for me about how smart he is. Not because he dropped out of uni, but because he was that naive to apply for a £100k job and not realise that there was a very high chance they would do some background checking on his CV.

I think someone summed it up pretty well when they said it was something he is insecure about, you could tell from the little clips of him giving his thoughts. He wanted to beef up his education a bit but the irony is, he didn't really need to - it's not like they were gonna give him a job on the back of 2 years at a (with all due respect) mediocore uni, it would be his other qualities that land him the job.

As for Alex, I was shocked at how badly he performed at interview compared to how he is in the boardroom. I think he feels less comfortable in a one-to-one situation than a group situation where he has multiple points of contact to pick up on. He also kept harping on about his age, give it a rest. It was almost like Helene and her "I've been working for a global corporation and would have been fired if I didn't get results" spiel. That said, I thought she handled herself OK at interview.

Claire has to be strong favourite at this stage, with Alex failing to deliver this week. Lee has shot himself in the foot and as for Helene.... going into the final week I STILL don't see what she's all about.

Why lie about a University.

If he had true selfworth about his abilty then a his education should not matter.

SAS knows this.
