The Apprentice 2008

The editing is absolutely ridiculous. Everything we are shown is with the express purpose of misdirection and making the boardroom reveal more exciting. I don't watch the first half of this show for the boardroom preparation - I watch it to see who is the best and so I can support them. This has become absolutely ridiculous due to the frustrating editing and it makes forming balanced opinions impossible yet it makes forming rubbish opinions easy.

Its a Reality TV show.

Its there to entertain above giving everyone 'the facts'.

To me, the boardroom part is slightly less entertaining than the task sections, but it makes for good ratings. I also think the show is very well edited for the sake of suspense and tension.

Better to miss out a few facts and have a more exciting show.

That is quite interesting about the finalists working for him for 6 months. The question I have always wondered is what do they do in the weeks running up to the final? When there are 13/14 of them, do they have jobs set by SAS during the week with a main task on 1 day of that week, or do they do other things. Anybody know?

I think I read on Wiki on elsewhere that it isn't actually spread over the course of 12 weeks but over only a couple of weeks. That would explain why they all look so knackered and are all still asleep when Francis calls.

I did wonder why if they do one or two days work a week they were so tired and didn't get up earlier so they didn't have to rush when the phone rang!

Yeah I think they film the 12 tasks over a few weeks and then broadcast them over the 12 weeks. Its many hours a day they have to work, most of the week. Hence them being tired. :)

I don't think Helene or Lee have a realistic chance of winning, splitting Alex and Claire shows that for me. I see them as being who he will think of as the main candidates, so splitting them makes the hard decision for him based on who loses.

Then from the winning team the overall winner should be a dead cert, barring exceptional circumstances.
