The Apprentice 2018 (Series 14) - 3rd October

Considering the two that are through, I'd put money on Camilla being the winner.

I can't see Lord Sugar going with the swimwear business, the nut milk one I think has more potential, faster growth and even a quicker return for him.

Daniel would have been in the running if his product was marketed as more of a sport/fitness drink/supplement even if it does help to cure hangovers.

The weeks of poor displays leading upto the interviews was worth it for the pure cringe they all displayed.

So many blatant lies it makes me wonder if they even vet the plans at application stage or not.

The only person being invested in is AMStrad himself.
It's highly probable that he's making far more money from the show than the amount he's supposed to invest in the winner.
No doubt that investment is from a company he has a stake in, not his personal wealth. The whole show is about making money from the show, that's the REAL investment.

In saying that...

I wanted the young blonde haired girl to win, the one with the tennis events "business proposal," lol. Simply because I found her the most palatable of them all from the unrealistic edited, directed portrayals that the show deliberately manipulates.

Said before the episode started he'll go for nut milk as its easy money and although watching so far I think Sian deserves it, nuts are gonna take it.

Edit: nm then, glad how it turned out.

think the swimwear is dumb tbh. Custom but budget = small profit. Premium flavored nut milk was also useless though as anyone could copy it.

2 poor business plans that wont make money but thats not what the show is about really.

indeed - there should be more transparency by the BBC on how much money is spent on our behalf for these national 'treasures' - DrWho, Come-dancing, question time. ....

Both felt like bad choices but I suppose one has to 'win' give it a year and it'll be like most of his other investments and disappear apart from the odd tweet from him.

There is plenty of transparency

Soap's, anyway, in 2011 were 10p per hour per viewer, and several web comments on a typical £700K production cost per hour
https://www.nao.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/1011_bbc_drama.pdf
so sugars cost to tax(license) payer probably £1.20 per viewer per series , let's say £2 with 2017 inflation.
the 'prize' money easily covered too ?

... So the sooner I can opt-in to the Apprentice/payg if I want to pay £2, the better ? what would you specifically, pay to watch, on the BBC ?

Why do these numpties not have even the slightest clue what they are going to name this business they are apparently so passionate about?
