The Apprentice 2024

Sugar couldn't have made it any easier for Phil to win. Must have a good business idea
Has to be a record. Reach the interview round with only 1 task win under your belt.

I recently watched all the earlier seasons, where the winner is selected totally differently (as it was a job and not a business partner) and he never would have made the grade!

Older series were people who actually wanted the job, then it slowly changed into a launch pad to become a 'c list celeb'

The facial expressions the guy was making when Foluso was designing the packaging was hilarious.

His expressions were the highlight of this weeks episode for me.

Can you imaging week in week out these designers who get tasked with working with these idiots must be thinking “I ended up with all that student debt for this”

Haha, I would have bet up to £100. If you had replied to my post I would be bank transfering it to you right now!

Didn't expect him to win at all, but guess when you got clueless numpties on the other team coming up with the most stupid ideas ever, even Phil looks good.

He has what a appears to a good business going:

So, no fool and there must be something in his business idea that Sugar likes.

Yeah I don’t think he’s that bad, just gets on with it without all the overconfidence of general applicants - steady worker.

Don’t imagine he’ll get through the interviews though!

Interviews today.

Not really interviews anymore, I suppose, more a deep dive on their business plans to find the 2 most promising ones. But still...

There definitely won't be any ridiculous parts they were almost certainly told to write by producers in their plans.

Ended up deciding to watch this series, even though I was determined not to, so slightly behind but they are all absolutely shocking.

Not like previous years when they were bad but funny, they're all just genuinely bad.

Interviews wasn't nearly as bad as some of the previous years.

Bold choice to go in without a business plan and wing it or change your plan on the fly when your original one doesn't work. Going in with another recruitment company idea after he's invested in 3 seems a waste especially when you want to blow all the money in 3 months to pay wages.

Pies vs gyms for the final.

Phil might make a good pie but the interviews showed he knows nothing about running a business.... Hopefully Rachel wins.

Just caught up. Reminds me a bit like gladiators where it’s really just down to the eliminator (within reason if time gap ain’t too great). For this 10 weeks of challenges but then debatably the 2 constant performers binned out on business idea. Why don’t they start with those business plans at the beginning then do tasks to develop them as they go?
