Haha kudos to the mortar board selling lady. Don’t take no crap from this mob. That’s the way it should be.

Quants was a financial term used in billions - yes -
Quant fund: An investment fund in which securities are selected using numerical and statistical methods rather than human analysis

Ryan-marc's a doppleganger for Kim Jom-un

Tom was well suited to this task so credit where it is due. Embarrassing that no-one knew the years of WW2 and the American ladies name should be 'loophole'.

The book seller was class. Talk about making mugs out of them.

I think the wrong one went last night though should have been

the Harrods guy. Also the denial of not being told what Toad was on the phone was so laughable when it clearly showed them on film

This the first year where I can’t cheer at least one of them on. I hope he sacks the lot.
Yea every week at least 2 should/could have been fired, I'm always hoping it's more than 1 but been disappointed so far.

Still, Scarlett makes up for the disappointment by being amazingly pretty :D

Missus started the latest episode the other night, asked if I was watching, I said "nope, off to bed, let me know who gets sacked".

I've watched every single series since this first came out but this latest one is beyond awful, can't be bothered.

Agree with you there.

The guy is a coward. Putting himself forward to be PM and then voting for the other person, and to then b**ch about the wrong person being in charge.

Too many years of Rollercoaster Tycoon and Planet Coaster would finally come handy.

Is this related to the Show or just a rip off

You’ll find those unicorn slime things 10 a penny in pound shops, they’re popular with children.

Lucifers gay brother is really starting to grate on me...as is that pompous teenage entitled little ****

Who were you refrain to there? Ryan-Mark and Lottie?

Lottie is quite hot, also amusing how she's wound up half the contestants... slightly annoying thing is they were showing some clip at the start of the earlier episodes showing that her and Thomas were both clearly safe/in a later episode (which I think has either aired now or is/was next weeks) etc... which was a minor spoiler for the earlier ones.

She was silly to have a go at Thomas for gambling in the Oxford/Cambridge episode when they wanted a pole/quant - he gambled on a discount to the price already offered which, given it was a coin flip, was equivalent to knocking another fiver off... nothing to lose there and if they guy wouldn't have gone for a further discount then it was another angle.

Lord Sugar is getting a bit of flack on social media from the woke brigade after having sacked most of the BAME candidates... though with 15 seasons in they can't really accuse him of racism and he can quite clearly argue that it has nothing to do with anything but rather he's sacked the people based on their performance int he tasks (and quite blatantly their general personalities, business ideas etc.. too)

Lottie seems to have been caught up in an apparently out of context racism row too - re: saying "shut up Ghandi" to an Indian contestant, apparently the context is that they were talking about Ghandi earlier in the chat:

https://www.somersetlive.co.uk/news/somerset-news/apprentice-bbc-tells-lottie-lion-3471452
In her previous statement, Lion said her use of the word Gandhi was "misinterpreted".

"It is not true that I would ever be racist," she said. "My use of the word Gandhi was misinterpreted, it was as candidates in the group chat had been quoting Gandhi previously.

"The comments were taken out of context, and I ask the public not to make judgment without knowing the full context."

A big chunk of the contestants really don't like her much at all though it seems, if you look at some of the social media posts there are groups of them photographed together at events and a few digs on social media etc... they've tried to have a go at Lottie in the press - see the Daily Fail article accusing her of "homophobia" too:

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowb...t-telling-rival-Lubna-Farhan-Shut-Gandhi.html
As well as the messages sent on the group chat, it has also been claimed that Lottie made racist and homophobic comments during filming.

She is said to have referred to Ryan-Mark Parsons as the 'short gay one', while calling Riyonn Farsad 'the tall gay one'.

Ms Lions was also accused of making derogatory comments towards transgender woman.

thing is if Ryan-Mark were offended by that I'm pretty sure he's outspoken enough to have called it out himself - though he seems to be quite chummy with his fellow posh contestant Lottie - see recent social media pic:

So it sounds like some of them are bitter and just trying to throw whatever they can at her as Ryan-Mark hanging with her at Harrods doesn't make it seem like he considers her homophobic.

The twitter stuff is amusing too: Ryan Mark throwing in a dug at his fellow contestants:

Note Jemelin's reply...

And Lottie on the same subject:

Well Lottie knew but yeah Tom was great in that task, he's a bit overly confident about his creative abilities - some of the concepts/back stories for his ideas were just ridiculous... the reassuring turtle thing and the story for the rocket ship rescuing gravity or whatever it was supposed to be doing.

Many of us would destroy this challenge.

Jup.. I was like "just pick one FFS" - like no reason why they couldn't have had faster or highest or most number of loops as a USP - something like that and a non-stupid marketing idea/poster would have ticked the boxes and delivered a win. Trying to throw everything in as Tom did was just plain silly.... in the end the simple idea of "make the rollercoaster go backwards" not as if no one has ever thought of that before (probably a reason why they generally don't as it isn't very exciting) despite the silly alien marketing nonsense etc..

Tom is arguably a better team mate than most of them though, he's got the sales ability, is very likeable, he can get **** done but he doesn't deserve to win the show though, I don't think he's going to be investable from Lord Sugar's perspective, he's just well liked and makes for good TV. Like wise that partly why Ryan-Mark and Lottie have been featured a bit, no harm in being controversial and they do make for good TV, gotta have some characters....

I'm going hot and cold regards Lottie. I think she could be one to get to the end. I hope she's on it for a while, I love how nuts she seems to be. She's like a perfect geek girlfriend.

Well not necessarily "geek girlfriend" but she's definitely girlfriend material:

per normal the OC echo chamber delivers to confirm the quality/motivation of social media 'posts', I was wondering if I was missing out on party election material

- given that contestants are under NDA their social media stuff must be doubly convoluted

edit: the contestants are not good enough actors to hide their idiocy on screen, the camera never lies ?

Are they inspied By the apprentice?
;)
since it's filmed in advance maybe the manufacturers have taken inspiration ... their lack of derisory comments during product presentation is always dumbfounding;
tasks where products are sold directly to public always seem the most honest, in terms of feedback , albeit every punter wants their minute of fame.

Can you clarify what you mean here?
