The Apprentice Series 7

Which was Jim's pitch?

Who got that sale?

we don't know for sure but from what i understand the other companies would have placed orders too but they wouldn't have totalled more then 800,000 (e.g. morrisons may have ordered 2k and sainsburys 10k) so asda got the exclusivity for 800,000. from my understanding it was a fake order just for the show any way?

still sticking with susie ftw :)

I'd like Susie to win, I think she has her head on her shoulders*, but does she have enough bluster for a show like this? Stranger things've happened though.

"anything is possible with biscuits"

That biscuit place is 5 minutes from my house, might stop by and get some popcorn biscuits :/

I didn't used to know that the sales numbers were made up but that just makes this sort of task a joke? "We want to order over 9000 billion boxes of cookies" etc. it's just a waste of time?

I actually thought biscuit popcorn was a great idea, it's just that the biscuits were mahoosive and Melody's pitch to the Sheffield people was terrible. I thought they'd be more bite size.

Sugar is onto Jim though, has been the last few weeks, especially after Karen picked him out in the boardroom and called him a passive agressive

I like both Helen and Jim, though Jim is a bit too cavalier in the board room.

Tom could be good, he has good ideas, he just does not have the showmanship that others have (e.g. Jim). Melody annoys me, and not sure why she is getting away with her lies (probably as someone said, for entertainment). Susan is 21 going on 12. Natasha is there for the ride....and her looks scare me.

What like emergency biscuits? :p

I'm surprised it didn't get the same amount of mocking as Susies French comments last week.

"Ugghhh... arrrghhh"

"I think dads having a heart attack"

"Quick go fetch the biscuits"

Good concept but poor execution, they looked as if she'd dropped some pastry on the floor and picked them up with bits stuck to them.

Also worth noting Zoe would have gone to the kitchen if Melody and Tom hadn't both pursuaded her that the team leader should be doing the packaging instead.

Melody's pitch to the office workers was awful. Tom came across as very down to earth. For your average office worker he was easy to understand, and they could relate to him.

On the other hand, you have Melody, who instantly goes into Business pitch mode. It's a biscuit, not a multi million dollar marketing campaign with innovative ideas.

You wouldn't pitch a chocolate digestive to consumers with big fancy words and ideas, its a biscuit!. You'd talk about how tasty it is. Would you really care if a biscuit 'is the new popcorn?' No, you'd want to know

a) Is it tasy
b) Is the price good

The fancy words and business concepts should be saved for the supermarket execs.

She may be a good sales woman, but she's terrible at relating to your average joe, which is what Sugar says he does (if that can be believed lol), so i think it will work against her.

Helen longest odds to be fired next yet Jim shortest to win? I don't know much about gambling but does that make sense?

Hypothetical: Chelsea's next game is against Fulham. They are odds on to win. Should they therefore be odds on to win the premiership?

How many are left in the competition?

Never mind. Six left. I thought there were 7 and it was a double firing tonight.

6 left - Melody, Susie (sp), Helen, Natasha, Jim and Tom.

And I just seen Natasha's last name is.... Scribbins... hahaha :D
