Any company should be doing it yes. Anytime I move desk I have to go through this software guide thing to "assist" me with setting my chair height etc and tells me what posture to use to avoid stuff like a bad back or Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. I believe it's a legal requirement to do with using VDUs.
Aye that's right - it's part of health and safety that all users of a VDU must have a display, desk and chair check. It used to be a pain in the arse when I worked in iT.
