There isn't any relevance, but for a board populated largely by under-25 males, it's hardly surprising that a large part of their attention, whether in jest or not, is dominated by what's hot and what's not.

I have reservations about Ruth, but if I were Sugar, her appearance wouldn't be one of them. She may permanently look like she's sucking a lemon, but I'd be interested in hiring her to do a job, not asking her out on a date.

Put it this way, I'd MUCH rather have an ugly old battleaxe that can actually get the job done working for me than a stunningly georgeous airhead. If I want good looks, I'll find a lap-dancing club (if I can sneak away from the wife for long enough :)). But for employees, looks are totally irrelevant unless they interfere with job performance. If I was running the aforesaid lap-dancing club, I'd be interested in appearance. As I don't, it's about job performance and that, personally, is where my concerns with Ruth lie.

Samuel and Sharon appear to have the least clue of those left, closely followed by Michelle. Would echo the comments about Syed already made and Ansell a horse with three legs. Ruth is single dimensional.

Paul appears the most competent but Tuan might just fit the bill in terms of the last series as he appears to be the one who can learn the most from Sir Alan's guidance.

And Sir Alan is like marmite.....you either love him or hate him......I love the way the guy works! :)
 
It'd be a paycut for Tuan though... Although he has off-loaded his two flash motors recently..

It's not just her looks that irritate me. She comes across as an over-confident, arrogant, aggressive person. She seems to be very single-minded and unwilling to admit defeat. Her arguement with Mani in the boardroom during episode five was absolutely appalling, and she went on to tell the rest of the group a distorted version of events once she'd returned to the house.

I think she'd be great in a management position, but as a low-level employee I think she'd be awful.
 
I defend my right ot find Ruth atractive, but boy does her personality grate a little bit.

I haven't seen her arse so I cannot comment on the Ed Zachary disease! :D

Thank god Jo has gone, she was scaring customers away!

No I am not joking, but you are right she would probably be throwing me around the bedroom, but that sounds good to me! :p
 
She's a big woman and i think she ALWAYS gets what she wants.

Its a shame that Karen has gone as i think she wouldve been a very good employee for Alan Sugar. However, she wouldnt have gotten herself into petty arguments/squabbles and hence wouldnt have been good for the show's enternment value.

For the show, u need Joe, Saeed and Ruth. Once these guys have gone, i think the program will become very bland.
