The Apprentice

Did Sam get his coat from Delboy or is that the fashion these days?

didn't they spend the whole task selling and advising people on coats and then he piles out the shop in a sheep rustler 3 sizes too big for him.

Ruth annoys me SOOO much!

Sharon has massive knockers, Michelle is fit.

Guys did well, and Samuel rightly got sacked - What a waste of space he was.

I've noticed a flaw of sorts in The Apprentice. Call me sad...

Having watched last weeks repeat on BBC 2 yesterday, I remembered the sneak peek for tonights show. The bit where Sir Alan says "you're fired" and he pointed to his far left.

So, when the three of them came back into the board room tonight, I sort of knew that Samuel was for the chop. Sure enough he was. YES I KNOW IT'S SAD BUT I'M VERY OBSERVANT! And well, it gave it away a bit...

Anyway, whoever's sat directly in the middle next week...

LOL I do this as well! I knew he was going to say "BUT SAMUEL"

Lol, gf txted me immediately after the episode to comment on that coat.

Fired the right person. You know he only kept Michelle in cos she's the only fit bird. Good for ratings and that.

Took the words right out of my mouth.

Yeh i noticed that too, looks like he was looking straight this week. Wonder who'll be in the lucky seat. Respect to Paul he killed it this week, great work on the street. Oh yeh Skinny Jeans, Skinny jeans people.

Can't wait to watch this when I get home, sounds interesting :)

I've caught the end of an episode of the US version over here, and though I missed the actual show to see how the people are, I pretty much caught all of the boardroom section.

One thing that struck me was that they screen a lot more discussion in the boardroom, and they show more of Trump. It's also interesting to see that the team leader also got fired, and also tried to weed his way out through inconherent dodging-the-question babbling.

One thing I'm grateful our version doesn't have, however, is the absolutely awful 'dramatic' music and Trump's assistants who seem far less 'cool' than Sugar's :p

i loved the bit when the owner came in and asked Ansell to get him an outfit for £100.

rather than help Ansell choose a good outfit, the fat badger just booled off on her own and tried to gazump Ansell, who was on her own team!!!

and then she ballsed up by only bringing back £66 quids worth and making a tit of herself.

she well deserved what SAS said to her. she should have been a team player.

I noticed that you could see who was being fired from where he was looking too, and when he fired Mani, who I'd singled out as being in the 'hot seat' and then knew he was going to fire Jo and Sam :D. Not right til the end though til they all come in and sit down.

Next week, it's whoever is sitting directly opposite him ;)

So the feed back from this week, apart from it seems everyone knew the monent the final 3 sat down in the office that it was Sam who was going, was there any surprise really?

Seems like the program is being split so we are having troulbe seeing who really works well on the project, 60 min show, first 5 mins are recap of what happened last week. Another 5 mins on reaction to them getting home. 5 mins on them getting ready and being given brief for the task, a couple of mins on PM selection and first planning. 20 mins On the task.

Off the 20 mins set on the task, you see both teams perform badly but don't get to see how they really work, it focussed on the disagrements and things that are going wrong, mostly on the team that eventually looses the task.

15 mins of both groups in the Boardroom, and the 10 mins on the final 3. Its hard with time being split like this to really see how people are working on the project, but making the show any longer than the 60 mins it is will cause problems. I don't really know where this line is going, but all i know is that not much time is given to the winning team on the project and showing how they did things right by comparison to the loosing team.

Sayed, he is still sticking in there, one day he'll be on the loosing team, just got to be patient until then. Paul, right charmer, did well with the compliments, thought he performed well.

Anyone think that Sarah was sulking at the start of the Second Day? she moaned all the first day that this is heer area of expertise and then the second day, when she was asked to make decisions and do what she is meant to be good at, she sulked and wouldn't, eventually she did, I think it was probably when Nick turned up, and she realised what it would look like. Not a good thing to see.

The loosing team. Michele is fit? well she is the best looking one in the show, but when she dressed up and covered herself in BRIGHT red lipstick, she did look a bit cheap and tarty, probably earning more admiration from people on here in the process.

Ansel, in the first few weeks he seemd to be strong and do well, in fact the last 3 weeks, he has easily just faded into the back of the groups he's been with, he's certaintly not looking as strong as he was earlier in the season.

Sam, useless, was it just me, or was his entire attitude just starting to grate? He would never go anywhere without the damn notepad, even SAS picked up on it one week and told him in the boardroom to put it away. when I'm in a meeting, I appreciate people there to look interested and attentitive , is there something wrong with his back? every time he sat down, one arm was stuck to a notepad, the other was always hanging over the back of the chair, he can't sit upright and always seemed to slouch back in his chair. He didn't really do much, spent far to much time stratergising and talking about theory, rather tan just getting on with it, this just shows he is a born and bread PM, i see all the time, and often wonder which idiot promoted them into this sort of possition.

Ruth, just makes me laugh with the sheer directness. There is a job, there is a solution, job done! The negotiating between which product lines was just class, were having this, your having this, ok? Dunn looked like a rabit caught in the headlights of something huge and inevitable. Michells best decision was just great to let Ruth "Negotiate".

even when SAS told Michelle that she should not think friendship and look past that for the final 3, Sam and Ruth were named, one of the most telling bits Ruths ability, was when Margaret turned to SAS and him that Ruth was fantastic and she is only there becouse he told Michelle not to think friends. Something which was picked up on and when the 3 came back in, he questioned the decions of Michelle.

Michelle was weak and needs to go, Sam was weaker. I'm hoping the final 2 come down to Ruth and Paul, Paul will learn the most from SAS, but if you want something doing, then Ruth would be best choice. Depends on what he is looking for.

Anyway thats my 2p worth.

The show is called "the apprentice" so I would be thinking he is after someone he is looking to teach and mould into a certain type of business person. Paul seems ideal for this.

And FFS, please will people stop throwing in what are potential 'spoilers' for who's going to get fired next week depending on where they sit. I HATE the things at the end of the programme where they show you highlights of next week and always turn off/over before that bit.

(Sharon - Phrooooaaarrrrrrrr)

I read the other day that Syed and Michelle became an item after filming of the show last year but had an argument after the screening of the 2nd show where one of them was slagging the other off. Haha!
