Yup, she's still in.

She got taken into the boardroom this time though, but she fought her corner and was allowed to stay. I think she's pretty good, far better than some of the others :)

Ahh right, thanks.

My GF asked her if Alan Sugar was any different in real life...
and the answer was a resounding no. I'd be thrown out the forums if I actually quoted what she said about him!

I would've fired Jo.
Me too, providing the rationale for choosing who to fire is sheer performance.

My view is that it's dead simple this week. The girls failed because they didn't get the tyre and therefore got fined. The reason they didn't get the tyre was because they ran out of time, and the reason they ran out of time was because they spent some two and a half hours (or more) having a damn strategy meeting.

And THAT can be laid squarely at the feet of the project manager.

I'm astonished AMS didn't choose on that basis. After all, he said it in the boardroom .... with a ten hour project timetable, you don't spend 2:40 drawing flipcharts. Maybe ten minutes, but then you identify suppliers, determine locations, plan the route, allocate the tasks and get on the flippin' road, for pities sake.

I think you're right - he fired Karen because he "doesn't need another corporate lawyer".

I think I've started to forgive Syed for his 'A Team' comment - he's doing well now.

fini
The guy could single-handed end world poverty....
The guy could do more/less anything beneficial at a world level....

Nothing that he could do will win him forgivness for the "A Team" comment :)

as to syiad with his A-team comments i just found that ridiculously hillarious. Obviously the edititing had something to do with it but bloody hell it was amusing. The egos on some of these people is just insane. Theres that other bloke on the boys team as well who was doing the sales pitch on the calender one ( forget his name and missed tonight ) but when ever syiad said something he was so defensive and came out with the classic "what the **** is your problem" card.

I never watched the first series of the UK one. i got the feeling it was a bit tacky. Tho i loved the Yankie ville one ;D. Tho im quite interested in this one , dont know why :P

Sugar is clearly keeping Jo in as she adds a bit of fire to the programme. He did the same with Paul in the last series but he eventually gets fed up with their loudmouth and fires them.

edit...what was the A Team comment?, I missed that

Seems like the Only reason Karen was booted off was becouse SAS is looking for a negiotiator / buyer, all three tasks have revolved around this objective.

Jo, OMG, she's crazy, should have a lecture called "How not to run and organise a team" and just show a video of Jo from last nights show.

First thing she does when she decides she's going to lead the team, is have a go a Ruth (who earnt credit with me for defending herself and just getting on with the Job), for the Calendar farce, then she just aimed a broadside at all the girls threatening all that she will be watching them and on there backs, promtply followed by everyone ignoring her, and Jo loosing control of the team.

Karen i thought would be one of the last few, she doesn't seem to upset that many people and seems to talk sense most of the time, just she doesn't seem to fit the job that SAS is offering. Ruth, showed she could lead a team well, not sure if this is good as she was not meant to be the PM and don't know how well she will work in a team rather than running it.

What was the quiet girls name again? the one who wanted to draw brain storm session and was in the board room but talked herself into staying? I don't seem to think she will do that well, as she's a little to soft.

The blokes, didn't really see much of them, as the coverage seemed to be almost all on the girls. Half the bokes team, the one with Ansil in, didn't really seem to be on screen atall.

Jo needs medicating.

The first thing they were asked to do in week one was split into two teams, boys and girls, and decide on a name for the team and also a team leader.

Syed came out with The A-Team right from the start, and just kept going on about how THe A-Team would be a great name, becouse it drew images of a team that did everything (he drew direct comparrions to the TV show). When he made the suggestion, you could see everyone round the table trying hard not to laugh and shoot him down.

He kept on and on so much about it the meeting lasted hours. In the end someone finally had the sense to tell him that infact it was stupid and childish, he then seemed to sulk.

/slap Syed, "I pitty the FOOOOL"

I can't wait for Syed to get fired :D

I mean he was close the first week and then this week as well

Who's stupid idea was it for 500 pizzas and 1 whole chicken per a pizza?

Omg did you see Jo when her team won, she went crazy! and was the only 1 she looked so stupid!

Syed is just as anoying imo.

That had me on the floor.

"Ok, we're going to make 90 pizzas."
"Right then, let's buy 100 large chickens."
"Spot on. Just what I was thinking!"

LOL, tonight was class, Syed is a pretender who knows how to talk the talk but really just can't walk the walk, Sir Alan can see straight through him and he will be "fired" soon!
