LOL, tonight was class, Syed is a pretender who knows how to talk the talk but really just can't walk the walk, Sir Alan can see straight through him and he will be "fired" soon!

Couldn't agree more.
Having said that, I agree with Sugar's eventual choice ..... and with his comment that he's tempted to fire all three of them.
But the girl he fired had been 'hiding' in the background in previous weeks, and really had little choice, this week, but to put herself forward. She got that decision right, at least. Trouble is, if you poke your head above the parapet, someone likely to blow it off.
Project managers on this program don't have an easy time of it. For a start, as PM, you
are going to bear a fair bit of the responsibility for losing, and yet you have to "manage" a team, with no real authority, and what's more, the "team" is a bunch of prima donnas many of whom are hopeless, and all of whom have a vested interest in you falling flat on your face.
Where tonight's loser failed, in my view, was that she did very little actual managing. Delegating is fine, but that doesn't mean you dole out tasks, then just do some drudge work and hope everything turns out OK. You have to plan, delegate then monitor, and if necessary, take remedial steps. She didn't seem to have a clue what was happening, or what went wrong.
As for Syed, I'm with Headrat. He knows the buzzwords, but I've seen no signs of any actual ability, beyond the blarney. He's make a good conman, perhaps, and maybe a good salesman, but I've seen nothing to suggest he's multi-skilled enough for the job Sugar has. He's far too ready with blarney, and excuses, and has (so far) shown none of the necssary versatility. Talking fast will only get you so far, then comes time to put up or shut up.
