Some of the candidates in the first season were the real deal...Saira, Tim, Paul and James but season 2 and especially this season, they just seem so clueless with no common sense. Gardening - too much work, very little time...car washing service at night - wtf?!
Sir Alan Sugar has looked a fool since season 2 in my opinion. He's there with Margaret and what's his face next to him and opposite him are a bunch where no one individual stands out. They should all stand out - they're the bloody final candidates!

Agreed, the calibre is unbelivably low, its also pretty terrible on the american apprentice...
im sure a couple of my mates would do better jobs than them lot.

I haven't wathced much of this season but from what I've seen the standard seems to have dropped a little.
Just thinking about it, what do you think the other staff members are like when the winner walks into the office for the first time? Do you think the company has any problems with staff not respecting the winner due to the nature of how they aquired the job?

I thought the funniest moment of the show was when both teams sat down to decide on a team leader. Five volunteers from the lads team, and not a single one from the lasses.
Jadine still needs a slap, but when it came down to the last 3, it was obvious Jerry was going to leave. Naomi looks to good to get rid of this early, after Michelle from last year, we all know SAS likes a pretty face to look at whilst listening to endless drivel from the candidates, also Jadine annoys enough people to make the shows more amusing. Like Syed form last year, it was obvious he wasn't going to win but was kept in just to give the Project Leaders something hard to work against.
Blokes team did better, Tre as team leader was OK, unfortunatly he's gotten to the point that no one really listens to him any more as he talked so much in the first couple of tasks. The Two love birds were blatantly ignoring him.
