Any ideas. it defo sounds liek its posting. just cant see jack.

Oh, I have tried swapping the 9700pro for a really old 16meg agp card and still just black screen
Any ideas peeps ?

Try removing the memory and put it back in.
In my case it was a loose connection on the momory slots.
