I don't really need the AGP slot on the other motherboard. This looks nearly the same, if not better. What do you think?
Also i've never heard of this chipset, is it going to cause problems? I normally use NF4
Oops wrong post...

Simply cut mine into 2. Still wouldn't fit, but just rotate it 90° & works perfect5punk3monk3y said:get a small flat head screwdriver and move the live connector to the center terminal in the connector and plug in!!
Thunder said:I got a SATAII drive on this board onto which I've installed and running WinXP Pro SP2 fine. I've left my old IDE connected on the IDE1 channel as a primary master drive. I can see the drive in BIOS, boot and in Windows. I can format the drive in Windows but after a reboot when I try and explore the drive in Widnows it says its corrupt. CHKDSK doesn't report any errors with the drive. Is this a problem with SATAII drivers screwing up the standard ATA drive?? Any help advice would really be appreciated.
What is also strange is that in the BIOS the drive is correctly identified as a Samsung SP1604N, under Windows it shows up as RALSTNF RP0604N.
TIA
not a single problem with SataII here been using it with my Hitachi Deskstar SataII drive for 4 or so monthsBruceLee said:I had LOADS of probels with this board and my SATAII Seagate drive, I tried loads of things, in the end I would advise you to put it on the SATAI port as this seems stable.
I hate this board, I've never had this much problem with stability and quirks with any other system I've built.
What goods a SATAII port when it screws up in XP etc etc.
When I get the chance I'm getting a new board.
