Horrordee said:Ok I sorted my Memory timing issues, it is running at 400mhz now. However, my machine will not boot windows xp with a command rate (MA) set at 1T. If i set it to 1T, the machine reboots while loading windows - usually just after its started loading - before the first "loading windows..." screen.
I'm really dissapointed - I am using the GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC6400 800MHz Ultra Low Latency DDR2 Dual Channel Kit (GX22GB6400UDC) (MY-058-GL) bought from ocuk as I thought it was good stuff - but it clearly wont boot. I tried changing the limited DRAM voltage options but neither option made the situation better. Does anyone have any ideas? Could it be down to two settings I don't know about? TRRD and TRC - neither of these I know what to set to.
Or would reinstalling windows xp (possibly putting on xp 64 bit) work? Could it be a issue with xp as apposed to the ram?
What about setting the (v)NB and (v)SB to HIGH (2.1v)?

CSA said:Thanks, i noticed in that thread hes advising NOT to install USB drivers , do they still cause issues or have any of u lot installed them , do they work ok or not ?
The reason i ask is that some of my USB devices seem to be 'spazzing' out when i play BF2 , the joystick and the keyboard make involuntary movements when im playing and im wondering if its down to the USB drivers , i didnt install them with the unified drivers i just let windows install the normal generic USB drivers
what harm will it do if i installed the USB2 drivers for this board ?
MadMatty said:Didnt you already solvethe problem by setting 2T ? Not being able to to use Dual Channel 1T is a known limitation of the board and works in very few cases of pure luck.
