Change it to High in bios to get about 2.7v I think. If you need higher you need to mod the mobo.

EDIT: What problems you having BTW, as I was considering getting that RAM you have?

Just won't run stable at 1T perhaps?

correct it wont, i have also tried g-skill!

Overclockers dont stock this board reason.

I am interested in getting this board and a nu processor. I've looked at a lot of boards processors and also GRAPHICS cards. The only reason i would think why overclockers dont sell this board is because your not forced to buy a shiny nu GRAPHICS card to go with it. Maybe this is why they are not to worried about stocking it. Stocking the Boards they do, you are either limited to AGP or forced to buy PCI-E, meaning mega bucks for them.

This mobo has an issue where not all people can get it to run 1T, especially with 2x 1gig.

It can also be caused by the fact you are running a Venice which *apparently* can prevent memory from running 1T also.

oddly, my cheapo geil value memory will run at 1T with 11-3-3-2.5 timings quite happily.

it is, however, only 2x512

OCW bios v1.6

When I turn my PC on first thing in the day the onboard sound isn't recognised. It is fine after a reboot though. This has happened everyday since I first updated it (5 days i think). Updated to the proper official Asrock v1.6 last night and it was perfect at first boot this morning.

I used to have 2x512 of Corsair3200c2pt running 1T, but since upgrading to 2gig will now only run at 2T 2-3-3-6

 Does anybody know if I use 3 x 512Mb the mobo will run 2x512Mb in dual channel and the other 512mb in single channel? (the spare slot would be for an OCZ booster)

it was possible with my nforce2, where I am running now 2x256Mb in dual channel + 512Mb in SC (before 2x512mb + 256Mb in DC)

I don't think so but more memory is probably more important than Dual channel?

far as im aware it will run single channel, u need 4x512 for dual channel.

if u're running something like battlefield2 i'd run the 3x512.

I tried this in my system and it ran single channel, any which way i put them in !

Decided to just run with my geil one TCCDs as 1024mb, as it seamed to benchmark a little better.

I keep getting blue screens, does it have something to do with running my memory at 1T.
Blue screen: 0x00000050: PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA

I have this memory: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/GeIL_Golden_Dragon.html
Running @ DDR400 CAS 2-2-2-5 was running at 1T
Bios version: 1.50
CPU: 3700+

welcome to the club! I kept on getting these error messages, especially with outlook 2003 and word. I had to slacken the timings a bit. Am at work at the mo (working hard!) but from memroy i think i have 2.5-3-3-8 1t and seems pretty stable with a 10% overclock.

hope this helps

cheers
