**The ASrock 939dual-SATA2 (ULi M1695) thread**

Has anyone managed to get a ddr booster fully working with this board? If so in which memory slot?

I have one in the only slot that it could fit with my memory and that is slot2 (slot1 has a capacitor right next to it, very annoying). Anyway, Im getting instability problems and the cold boot problem since putting it in again (I had to rma my last one because it broke) and wondering if anyone has managed to get it fully working? When I turn the knob the LED number doesnt go up either, its stuck at 3.0v (but havent turned it a great deal, since it might still be working and I dont want too much voltage through my memory!)

I had a look at the driver package readme when I'd spotted it had been released, but only changes I could see over 2.13 were some additional drivers for Windows Vista. So there is no difference under XP.

Great site and even better thread. A lot of reading to be done here to help fine-tune.

I have an couple of extra usb ports in there, but Im having a hell of a time trying to get my hp 1100 psc working on this board and also my digi camera.

Thats exactly the same as mine. There's nothing wrong.

Windows is just using its own USB2 driver. (The enhanced PCI to USB Controller).

Not having any problems with my Digi camera, so can't be of much help otherwise.

I got one in the second slot but I find the volts a bit unstable so setting up at 2.8v gives sometimes in windows 2.9v, 2.7 or even 2.6v so I am getting errors in prime95 if I set 166 divider with the memory over 220. Running memtest the volts are more stable but in windows there are less.

By the way the booster says high memory setting in the bios is only 2.6v and not 2.7v as most of the people believe.

by the way you are setting the volts when in bios, are you?

I discovered something else too, it says my card is in pci mode in the drivers.. is this right? should it not say agp mode? perormance seems ok.

Ive just put my system together with this board along with an opty 146, artic cooler 64, hyper type r power supply, 3x cd/dvd burners, old agp graphics card, audiophille 2496 and so on . . . im a bit of a newbie to overclocking but i now the only thing holding me back on overclocking my opty with this board is my ram, i have 2x 512mb value ram from one of oc's competeors. They where bought seperatly but say they are working as duel channel? Can any body help me get some reasonable clocks out of this board.

Yes mate in the bios, and there is often no change in the reading on the actual ddr booster. I have now put the memory in slots 1 and 2 and then ddr booster in slot 4, to see if there is any difference.

What program do you use to check the ddr voltages in windows? This would be a godsend if I could do that!
 
Just got myself one of these boards

Just thought i'd let you guys know I just bought one of these boards from a popular auction site (hope its ok to say that) for £36 including delivery.
Anyone wanna sell me a processor to go with it now? Can't get into the buyers market yet, looking to spend £100-£150.

if you do a search on this TOPIC only, and under my NAME somewhere in all these pages I posted a reply detailing exactly what you need to change to O/C this board and how to etc, with a opteron 146, mine is at 2.74GHZ and that is the MAX it can go with the BIOS i am using (P1.50)
