The Asus ROG SWIFT PG278Q – a 27” 1400p 144Hz Monitor with G-SYNC

....I've left mine on Normal, but there is Extreme and Off to choose from too.

The TFT central review recommends to leave at normal, using the blurbusters tests.

So what have fellow Swift owners got the Overdrive setting at? Any point messing around with it? (Never had a fast monitor before with this setting)

I think Normal is perfectly fine just as TNT Central said, and the only setting that I ever will use ;)

that's a really good tip by gregster regarding the refresh rate settings and idle clocks, never knew that, and now card one goes wayyy down instead of idling at 899mhz:)

I had to set the Swift up as I only have 7 days for a DOA return, plus I really wanted to try it out hehe.

Good bloody god, this thing is immense !!

Providing your wall mount is a normal 100x100 then it'll fit snug like mine does. The vesa mount isn't flush with the back it sits inside the back of the monitor slightly....if that makes sense? :p

I had to buy a new mount, as I had a big plate for different sizes and needed a smaller inside fitting one. Works a treat and I prefer it flush with the wall.

I think I'm going to have to wall mount mine too, mine is too close on my desk. The difference between 24 and 27" and having it a good few inches closer is pretty un-natural for me

Is this supposed to be like this ?

If you look at the monitor bezel, there looks to be about a 2-3 mm black border around the screen before you see the viewing area ?

Strange, I'm loading up WoW there and I go through my toons, when I do, the screen goes black and I get an out of range message, If I ctrl+esc then go back in, it shows.
