You don't need to use it for consoles. How about connecting a mac or laptop for example?! Yes it is a gaming monitor but that doesn't mean you can't use it for other purposes!
lol Super Mario 3D world is amazing though
Sod it, ordered
Agree, it's pretty awesome but heres hoping for a real 3d Mario, so hope that Galaxy 3 comes sooner then later.
You cant beat the great N as who would live without Mario and Zelda
Does any one know of a good site that you that lets you Calculate mouse sensitivity from 1080p to 1440p for games like BF4 coming from 1080p to 1440p the mouse sensitivity needs a change and wanted to try to keep what i had when i was 1080p so that needs to be Calculate to match it to the new res 1440p , I have found a site that let you Calculate mouse sensitivity but they do not let you do it by the res just by DPI and adding in your old in game sensitivity , Them sites seem to work on 4:3 factor . I need to get real data from changing the res to 1440p ,And seem to be having no luck finding a good site that can do this ...
I just kept lowering it over a few games - didn't take long
You play BF4 how are you getting on with G-SYNC if thats what your using ??
For me i still getting problems like stuttering with a ping of 6ping and frames high as 120 set to 144hz g-sync on .
Just finding it a little strange
Are you getting stuttering when GPU usage is maxed out ?
I'm finding that with a few games such as Crysis 3 and BF4 that if I max the graphics especially with some AA, even though I have fps above 60 like in Crysis 3 my game will stutter when turning with my mouse. But if I use a controller it's nice and smooth. Not sure if this is some kind of mouse problem, gsync problem or something else, but for me, some games still stutter at max GPU usage (780 SLI) even with alright fps.
Getting round 85% on both cards when i looked last time .But never really looked at the GPU usage when playing to be totally honest i have precision x 64bit in game ,But never really looked at it when i get the stuttering ,This stuttering don't seem right ! .. I think this G-sync thing is not all that to be honest with you .. If i never knew this had 144hz and g-sync and i walked into a room and they said to me play a game on that then try the other one ,For me the BenQ play's and feels smoother And I am finding that a little strange .This monitor not just for the higher res but for the G-sync a lone should blow any other gaming monitor out the water .. Kind makes no sense ,I wonder if there are problems with G-SYNC that have not yet been ironed out .. Maybe I should have waited for Gen 2.0 not got the first batch or models Gen 1.0..
Funny thing is i just left a game and now i have really bad headache never got many headaches when playing on the BenQ 27T 1080p kinder of strange my head is pounding now after playing with this monitor A wise man once said live and learn ,
Can you confirm that the power LED on the monitor turns red when you fire up a game? Gsync only works with the game set to full screen so if you are running BF4 in windowed mode it might not be activating. You really shouldn't be seeing stutter with gsync on so it does seem strange.
Yes its RED i even went and checked in the control panel to make sure it was set there ..
Game was all FULL SCREEN ..
Well the only thing I can suggest is to restore the global settings in nvidia control panel back to defaults and set gsync only. Might be one of the other settings conflicting with it. You can also try settings pre-rendered frames to 1 (but I think you already said you did that earlier in the thread?)
If that doesn't work then a fresh driver install might help. Otherwise I'm stumped
pre-rendered frames 1 And new drivers came out tonight .. May disable one card see that's any better ,I can hope ..
Yep had it since Saturday, not had any of the problems that you are describing though. I'm running SLI 780Tis and haven't had to touch anything, not even pre-rendered frames.
I've not tried BF4 yet though so maybe its an issue with that specifically. I'll give it a go tomorrow night and see how I get on with it.
