Good. It's a step in the right direction, I still think clubs should face very strict punishments for this too, but this seems to be a step in the right direction.

Thing is though, he hasn't done that yet....and Ronaldo has. CR has proved himself in the top 2 leagues in the world. He had the weight of that ridiculous transfer fee to live up to when he left Man U - and he's kinda proved he was worth it in the end. Would Messi be brilliant in any team as well? Yeah, probably. But until he leaves Barca, moves to another country with a huge price tag around his neck, and bosses that league as well.....there's still a question mark.

He very nearly became a Liverpool player. A swap deal with Crouch one January was reportedly all but agreed only for an injury to one of them (can't remember which) ended the deal.

I still wanted him at Leeds a year ago! He'd put on a bit of weight but that is something else

Yeah his contract ends in the summer. Apparently he's been on £30k a week.

Not sure. The last sign of him according to wiki was that his loan move to Leicester was ended early this time last year.

Is this definitely a recent pic? I saw a pic of him like this a year or 2 back when he was out injured at City.
