If you could undestand 1 simple thing then a sensible discussing with you might be possible.

Liverpool didn't issue their statement, wear the t-shirts and our fans boo Evra because he suffered racial abuse. They issued the statement and wore the t-shirts because they don't believe Evra's version of events and they don't believe that Suarez racially abused Evra. If you disagree with that (even I do) that's fine, that's your opinion and that is theres. You both have a right to express your opinion.

Evra was boo'd because the supporters believed he lied (that belief could be like mine - he exaggerated his story or with others - he made it all up) and because he taunted Liverpool supporters

This is irrelevant when you take a step back and look at it from an outsiders point of view.

All the rest of the world see, is a player who's suffered racist abuse, getting **** from fans and management of a club (this includes chelsea) and the whole racism thing attempted to be brushed aside. It sends out the message that speaking out against racism is a bad thing. Literally had to check the dates in regards to this, it's like going back in time.

(Chelsea too, with the whole 'sticking by a player who's a massive **** and now is a massive potentially racist by a court of law ****. You think this is bad, you wait for the FA / Police to finish with him and I'll explain why he's a terrible human being and should never play for england again)

Yea, at least he's not faced with a £2,500 fine in a court that requires far more evidence to convict you :o

Again irrelevant. Suarez can personally put this down to a stupid mistake or what not, it's only on his professional career.

Terry is going to have this hanging over him in every walk of life, it's not going to leave him alone.

Also, if the FA don't take the England captaincy off him and ban him for an incredibly long time, I'll be on my way up to Wembley to go postal.

Was there not that League One player?

Who received an 8 game ban? 3 suspended?

Belive I asked before in the Suarez bashing thread and it was a 3 match ban a few years ago. (Ask Baz pretty sure he said it :p)

What is your view on 8 match ban for racism, 3 match ban for trying to split someone's skull?

6/8 match ban for racism seems about right.

3 match for a red card or are we talking a retrospective punishment?

All I'll say to those that see it that way is go and speak to Liverpool supporters and ask them why they've boo'd Evra rather than assume it's because he spoke out about racism.

It's not relevant that there would need to be far more evidence against him before he's found guilty of anything? That's a strange thing to say.

And as if Suarez isn't going to have this hanging over him. Even had he been found not guilty, it would have been used against him.

I don't know. If you take something like Bolochilli's stamp, I'd see no reason why it's not 4/6 game ban for purposefully stamping on someone (but, it's not hard to prove)

Ben Thatcher should have been banned for a stupidly long time.

Go and ask people around the world what they thought of it Baz. It certainly isn't the same point of view as Liverpool fans, especially after seeing that monkey chant / dance thing.

Regardless of how we feel about it, clubs fans and reputations are built around the behaviour of their fans. This incident, coupled with the behaviour of Liverpool, Chelsea and Chelsea fans (more so) and the liverpool fans giving him **** and doing that monkey thing, do massive damage to their reputations, and to English football.

The FA however do just as much by not suspending Terry.

4/6 games for attempting to seriously injure someone and 8 matches for racism ?

Racism is awful, but i'd much rather be subject to it than having my head stamped on or someone trying to break my leg. If you did it to a fan you'd be banned for months/years, stamping on a players head should be no different.

No, irrelevant in the sense that Terry is going through a criminal court and Suarez isn't. The punishment might be smaller for Terry (I hope/pray/expect a lengthy ban from the FA) but he's been found guilty by a court of law. While I'm not saying it's 'good' to be found guilty by a sports court, it's certainly ~better then a court of law.

Suarez can put this down to whatever on the pitch, move on and enjoy the rest of his career. Terry is England captain, all round top **** and has had a up and down relationship with the press and his fellow team mates. This will damage Terry more then Suarez, but it's all relative.

It was 6/8 and 4/6, but like I said dependant on the type of incident. Racism should be punished heavily. Want to end up watching football like you see in Eastern Europe? No, then you come down heavy on it.

Bad tackles are different, some can be late, some can be stupid and careless, some can be out to get a player and some can be out to maim a player (Ben Thatcher) there should be a panel that look in these. I also think it's down to referee digression, say Webb see's a bad tackle and the most he can do is a red, then after the match can recommend that tackle is looked at.

What people think Liverpool fans reasons were is not relevant, what the fans reasons is relevant.

As I said, you can't tell me why I dislike Evra, that's my opinion.

No, for a global brand such as Liverpool what other people think is important.

I'm not trying to tell you to love or hate him, just understand how this looks from the outside and how much damage this has done to Liverpool, and in certain aspects English football.

It's certainly been picked up on by other media outlets too.

Not really sure much more damage can be done to Terry and his family can it?

He cheats on his wife.
His brother sleeps with his team mates wife, team mate commits suicide.
Mums a thief.
Dads a druggie?

Surprised anyone on his team would talk to him.

It baffles me that you'd employ him let alone play with him or against him.

It's just like that wonderful interview Bellamy gave.

Well a blatent stamp/elbow/punch is very different to a bad tackle and can seriously injure someone.

Of course racism should be punished heavily, I would agree to an 8 game ban (If i actually believed the player had been racist :p) if relative to every other ban it wasn't so hilarious.

I have no problem with you saying how it looks to you. As I said, rather than assume something (which you have been), ask Liverpool fans why and then you'd understand better.

And it's not too much damage to us. We've signed several commercial deals while this has been going on.
