It's good to know that when I was talking about this place having a serious lack of a sense of humour recently, thinking about you when I posted wasn't misguided at all.

I shall stop now before I get suspended. Or rolleyesed, because that would probably cut even deeper.

You make me laugh Weebz

The budget, twitchy Droopy found not guilty. At least we know the British judicial system is alive, functioning and well. Oh wait.

Why can't you believe it? The case against him was so weak it's a surprise it got this far. It turns out that the case was nearly thrown out of court.

Yeah it was weak, i just don't believe he's not guilty :p probably because his defence was so laughable "I don't know how to email, i can't write properly, phones? no chance!" when we've seen him on his mobile how frequently on sky

Surely I'm not the only one that knows the obvious reply to this? :D :p

Shush you! :p

The Spurs way before Arry was constantly being beat by Arsenal and Chelsea, you want to go back to that? :p

exactly. watching us on monday with certain players missing was like watching us 5 yrs ago. with VDV, modric, bale, lennon, there's no way our attack style of play would change under mourinho and it gives us a better chance of holding on to bale and modric if he took over.

Yes and how realistic is it that Mourinho will take the Spurs job?

Oh and Mourinho is criticised for his negative approach in big game with Real and he's got far greater attacking options there than what Spurs have.

Very? Considering he wants a return to England, preferably London, and just how many London clubs will need a new manager in the summer?

well said, jano. if we do qualify for the cl, i'd say there's a very strong chance of it happening. couple that with spurs trying to get a new stadium, it could be the start of a very strong 5-10 yr plan.

I thought Mourinho was holding out for Man U at some point, so just like the past, wherever he goes it will probably only be a temporary measure.

First of all, I don't think it's certain that he wants to leave Real for England this summer. He wanted to put the message out that he did but similar stories came out last year too. He's being criticised in Spain and could quite easily have let that message out to get some appreciation for the job he's doing at Real.

Even if we assume that he will certainly leave Real, the Spurs job (possibly) being available is the only thing that would support the JM to Spurs link. Everywhere he's been since leaving Porto he's both been paid a fortune (he's reportedly on €10m per year after tax at Real) and spent an absolute fortune on players and their wages too. Is there anything to suggest that Spurs are either capable or willing to do that?

With the greatest respect to Spurs, would you leave one of the biggest clubs in the world, with one of the best squads in the world and €10m per year, to join Spurs?
