26 years a go today Sir Alex Ferguson took charge at Manchester United.

Stating the obvious but to think, Man United fans age 26 or under only know their club with him as manager. That's quite something imo.

Big shoes to fill when he finally retires, that's for sure.

Did you seriously just try to nullify the skill in goals outside the area. Suarez's goal was tripe in comparison to the majority of great goals from outside of box.

He took It on his chest and rounded the keeper, in what was comical defending, don't get ahead of yourself. Messi's dink over almunia was infinitely more classy & skilful. Cisses dinked lob last season against Swansea another infinitely better goal. Can think of plenty across a season that will beat that. It was a composed take and finish, something he hold do more often.

And to put it on context, the majority of Boro players who have scored this season have scored better goals.

Utter tripe, the majority of goals scored outside the area are luck. If there were all about skill etc then these players would be doing it week in week out. Its the same as a ronaldo freekeick, spank the ball on the valve and hope for the best (see his demonstration throughout the euros recently, hit and hope). Suarez's goal was all about skill, take the long punt down in one, round the keeper and tuck it in, all in 3 or 4 touches. Pure, unadulterated skill.

As I said in my previous post the sky sport educated **** just doesn't appreciate skillful goals like this. Its why you very rarely see goals that involve 20+ passes make it into the Goal of the month/season reels.

By the same token then why doesn't Suarez score goals like the one he did against Newcastle every week if as you say it was nothing but 'Pure, unadulterated skill'?

Unfortunately for you your last 2 posts have summed you up to be nothing more than the archetypal Liverpool supporter (not that we didn't know that already you understand)

Give him defenders as comical as Newcastles with the same situation every week and I would say he would score 99% of the time.

So me saying that I prefer skill over luck makes me a "archetypal Liverpool supporter"? Jolly good

:D

Beautiful goal, gets better every time I see it. Goal of the month surely, and a contender for goal of the season, Unfortunately the sky sports ***** won't see it that way as its not some supremely lucky shot from out side the area.

Contender for goal of the season definitely, writing of shots outside the box? Not a chance.

Also lol Tom, cabayes wasn't even close to being better, should have been easily saved. That control from Suarez was absolutely ridiculous, shouldn't be allowed was too good (He chested it down and controlled it is a complete understatement, funnily enough most people off here seem to appreciate it that way on non liverpool sites.). Also **** off with your archetypal liverpool supporter crap.

What, the fact I think Suarez's goal is better than Cabayes? Or were you referring the Newbie saying long shots are just luck? Because one is easily argued (as most people would) that Suarez is better, the long shot stuff is a load of rubbish but you won't find the majority of Liverpool supporter's saying that, so again **** off with your crap.

It should have been, was directly at him and he reacted late, regardless Suarez's goal was better. I see you've got the :o out too, can't wait for the  too
