Haha, WTF??
Another years contract for Giggs, Man.U. will never win anything with old players, they really need to get rid of the old guard to progress etc.. etc..

It's sarcasm, as usual.
Aimed at the tw*i*ts who think that just because a player is of a certain age they need to be discarded as they are holding back their team and just because a player may be an utter **** in his private life he needs to be discarded.
Giggs is as valuable to Man.U. as JT or Cole are to Chelsea yet they're all ***** privately apparently, although Giggs owns that crown.
Age is irrelevant if they're good enough.

Terry isn't getting a new contract because he was the conspiring against several of the Chelsea managers. No player is bigger than the club!

isn't the rumor the older players at chelsea aren't getting contracts due to FFP and any complications their huge wages would have
Well Cole's just had a contract extension and Terry's doesn't expire until the end of next season so I guess you mean Lampard who might still get one.

I hope you change your mind & give him one as all the ex managers & coaches who've spoken about him have all said there's never been a problem with him.

Paddy Power are awesome! :D

Why does it seem like good business?

He has been at the club for less than a year and has made a lot of lifestyle changes and fitness changes that won't work overnight, it will mean he can get fitter and stronger. This is a slight setback and it might not be that bad as he walked off unaided and may have just not wanted to take the risk of playing on.

Fitness changes?

For the uninformed (like myself) it certainly seems like good business from Everton because they've got 15m for a player who's never fit

Yes. Changes to how he trains, what equipment he uses, when he trains and so on.

Well it may turn out to be a bad deal but surely you have to give it time before claiming it is a terrible deal?

When Gerrard was younger I am sure he had plenty of injury problems and Liverpool didn't just get rid of him as an example.
