The Battlefield 4 Thread 2015

What happened Tony? Was this rage induced :D

no not at all.

Apparently when running freesync on this screen via DP, disables the AMA function of the screen which gave blurring to some ppl (including the first reviewers of this screen). It is fixed with a firmware update but only could be done by sending the screen back to BenQ for them to undertake the firmware update.

Not using Freesync myself yet because of my cards not supporting it, I had no idea of the blurring as its non existent for me not running freesync, but with the idea of going Fury X or Fury X2 in the coming months, I want it all updated and working fine when I do.

Interestingly though, whether its placebo or not, ppl receiving the screen back after the update commenting on massive IQ improvements in general use as well......on a monitor that in my opinion is already incredible in that department. Will be interesting tomorrow to see whats what.

Is your screen V002 now? Blurbusters got on to BenQ to allow end users to flash the device themselves but then I guess if it was free to send then it cuts out the risk of possibly messing it up.

yes should be majnu. It's not possible for user to flash themselves. Everything been free anyway mate, and really impressed with the service both by BenQ, Repairtech and DPD.

AN94 might be a better choice for a burst fire over the m16. And the lads have been raving about the RPK.

I dont seem to get on with the AN for some reason i like the RPK though but had a good run with the QB-95-1 before i took a break from BF

will have a play around with set ups later

Just looking at this profile and think I know who he is now although I don't think I've ever played against him.... I see that he is another player who takes himself and this game too seriously though

Freesync will be a game changer for you Tony - right move getting the Fury despite the lack of performance. I'm assuming there will some good gains from driver updates.

Lol just played in a server against some Fly boys and got called OcUK SCUM :D.

Which one of you lot has been bullying the fly farmers?

ByK-ByCzKoWsKi

He's a nightmare this guy.

I srawed the **** out of him when we played Poland and he was like "nice shot", "lol" etc. But when I've killed him on pub, it's always "scum", "loser", "lowbob" and other flattering expletives.

lolololol We must be doing something right if an ESL player for Poland is still having nightmares! :D
I blame nexus!

I guess so kiwi mate. it's not bad performance, just not great in amongst all the hype. The thing that gets me is amd hyping it as an overclockers dream yet lock the voltages lol. With overclocks and drivers I'm sure the card will pull past the ti.

I have no doubt. Regardless it will be freesync that will wow you. It also somewhat mitigates any performance differences given the experience is a lot smoother than fixed refresh rates.
