Have you tried sticking it on user colors rather than a preset? (assuming its not died entirely) mine started doing the green screen thing on presets but works fine on user specified RGB values.

End of the day though as much as it is one of the best for responsiveness, etc. I wasn't sad to move on.

Hmm no I haven't tried it on anything other than the STD, I'll give that a shot now.

Completely forgot about that.

Right plugged it back in, not showing straight away but took a couple of hours, have changed the preset, now it's just a waiting game. Before I either RMA or get rid I will try it with a DisplayPort cable just in case.

Well 4 hours of testing and it hasn't returned, tried watching videos, playing and it seems to be running fine.

Thanks for the reminder Rroff, think you just saved me a few quid.

Now to get a mouse...

I think I actually played online FPS better on the XL2420 to be fair - but I wouldn't trade 120+Hz @ 1440p for overall gaming - if it wasn't for other gaming uses I'd probably go back to 1920x1080 as it just fits my vision and mouse sensitivity better.

Yeah i guess i know what you mean. I used to have a asus monitor 27inch @ 120hz /1080p years ago before they even had 1440p gaming monitors and i always felt i gamed better on a 24 at close range combats.

But im getting old now 33 in december so tend to pay for fun. So wouldnt mind going 1440p sometime. Id never go back 60 HZ tho. just fills so laggy when using 120 hz+ for so long

Yeah I'd love a shift but now my xl is back working I'm happy with it. Maybe in the next couple of years.

Yeah my son has a Zowie FK, tried it Friday night, it felt like using a child's mouse. I have spade hands and it was way too small.

Oddly I used the M65 last night and it felt fine, had some amazing rounds with it so maybe it will survive.

I'll be about this afternoon/evening.

Sounds like the Logitech G502 would be too small for you as well then.

The m65 is a nice mouse to use, had a rat 5 before which was better at sniping,

Yeah from the looks of it, it seems very narrow. I like the M65 because it is wide, means I can rest my pinkie finger on the out right hand side of the mouse.

Also got the Zowie fk1. Felt to narrow compared to my old steel series xai. Sadly they dont make that mouse anymore. Only the sensei verions that just suck. Just to suffer from huge jitter and the firmware brakes aswell as a broken left click. still got 2 of them here i dont use. Tryed the avior sk. Nice big wide mouse. same senor as The FK1 but then they mouse wheel click broke.... Funny enough ocuk dont sell them no more either.

Went back to my trusted logitech g9x last night. Agree with the g502. Tested it as well. Seemed abit cramped and i kept hitting the side buttons next to the left click. Also didnt like the feet design on it and didnt glide as well for me

Yeah its nice to hold if you have big hands plus you have the weights, what would be the point if all mouses looked the same.
