The Battlefield 4 Thread 2015

Already owned BF4, but bought the Premium Edition rather than "premium itself". Had both installed, but battlelog kept saying I needed to have the selected DLC bought/installed. Is this likely because I had the "non premium BF4" installed first? I've uninstalled both and tried just downloading the BF4 premium edition.

Have you downloaded and installed each of the DLC packs? (look in the game properties).

You'll also need to buy (for £0) the night map DLC as it isn't part of premium but is free to everyone.

You might also want to register for CTE, although that in itself is at least another 40GB download.

wont be around much this week, the WC project has started :). old 7950s in my PC at the moment, water blocks and heatsinks on the 390's today, dremel was out on the 780t today to make way for the 360 radiator :)...all exciting stuff.

Just looking at the picture again and noticed that you didn't run with a full block? I would make sure you get loads of air running through those cards as those ramsinks will get super hot!

Try game details (I don't have access to my gaming rig at work and I can't remember exactly off the top of my head).

It should list DLCs on that page and if you right click on them, allow you to download them. If after you've downloaded them and restarted origin, they still don't work, you might want to try this....

Edit: Also you want to disable origin in game for BF4, it causes stuttering and occasional CTDs

Wasn't BF4 Premium Edition just base game + China Rising?

BF4 (base)
BF4 Premium Edition (base + CR)

And then

BF4 Premium (Just the DLC's)

Or maybe I am totally wrong but I'm sure we had another poster who had the same issue. Bought Premium Edition not Premium, or something like that.

Deluxe was base + CR.
Originally you needed base or Deluxe + Premium membership, but they've rolled base+ Premium into "premium edition" IIRC (wannabe GOTY edition).
You miss out on 5 extra battle packs you would have got for deluxe + premium, but they're not worth anything.

ahhh ok that sounds more like it, I vaguely remember a "delux" thing. The need to name them more aptly.

Battlefield 4 - Just the game edition
Battlefield 4 - All in edition with DLC
Battlefield 4 - The only version that will work edition
Battlefield 4 - More money than sense edition

It gets worse for SW Battlefront IIRC, To get all the content you will need deluxe + premium not just base + premium. This will probably take the official price for all the content from £100 to ~£115!

Mind you it's only for the sake of a couple of exclusive emotes

I don't think i will... depends on the reviews and if this community carries over... which i doubt it will.

I see they delivered your rig personally nexus! :p
Linky
“The weirdest one we sold was an 8Pack system plus an Emperor gaming chair we had to deliver to Northern Ireland. We sent it by normal parcel and when it got to the airport at Birmingham, they realised, oops, it will not fit in the plane! So we had to hire a van, go to the airport and pick it up, so we could still deliver it next-day as promised.

“Our guys drove all the way to Northern Ireland; they took the Liverpool ferry across to Belfast, and got seasick in the process, before reaching the customer’s address, which was an apartment block. The stairwell was narrow, so they had to dismantle the Emperor’s chair, take it in bits and pieces to whichever floor, and then assemble it. It took a long time.

Oh yeah the gaming chair/sex sling thingy - nope not buying that either, unless Nexus wipes it down first.

SWBF is a defo no from me. Just not a game I will be interested in sadly.

New GTAV update/dlc thing is out today, might be on that tonight see what has changed.
