The Battlefield 4 Thread 2015

Good luck Kiwi, I'm sure we can grace some East Coast US servers on occasion and I'm usually up until 2 or 3AM so am happy to play on the east coast servers.

Also, it's here! It massive, must be at least a foot long. I hope it fits in my case!

Wishing you all the best Kiwi! I'm sure you'll still be about... no one can resist the allure of Port Appreciation Society (I refuse to call it Battlefield Fwends :p). The long, stiff containers of deep red, life sustaining liquid are soul catching... and that is just Nexus' nipples.

Farewell kiwibot, i'm sure you will fit in better in America as you still call crisps, chips.

:p

Since you're moving to LA pop into Dice LA and tell the team if Bad Company 3 is not a true successor to BC2 then there will be hell to pay. :D

Yep I'd like to echo the good luck wishes mate. hopefully we can still get gaming done somehow, mot sure what pings wil be like, we'll just have to work stuff out. I'm sure u won't be a stranger as o reckon you'll be on ocuk forums daily lol. All the best my good friend, thx for everything.

Its not really. Battlefield: Bad Company was the first proper iteration of frostbite (v 1.0) and it came out in 2008. I was play CS in beta 7 in the 90s! Good for you if you've just discovered it but i don't see the point in playing something that was basically built 15 years ago.

Same story with CS tho isn't it. Wasn't it Goldsrc engine before the orange box update? Everything evolves over time. Now we just need a new version of GoldenEye64 and Tribes.

Cheers all! Sorry for the rage on Altai! When you know its going to be one of oyur last games in a whil you don't want to lose it! Actually had some cool games after with Xin. There was a nice stage on Xin's side but we also had Xonatic and Fanatic + a player from ebash so the Zavod round ended up quote close.

This one?

That was an odd game - we were struggling with holding flags (so I thought we were going to lose) but towards the end my squad was dominating via staging from the top of D and racking up a lot of late kills that probably helped swing the game - but struggling with actually taking the C and D flags as we were all experiencing insta-deaths any time we tried to take C flag from D tunnels (wasn't just me as the other people in my squad were complaining about it on voice).

(Actually thought Erox_BeXy was cheating for awhile as I'd instantly die the moment the player appeared but I think it was just the game being ****).

EDIT: Really don't understand this game though - if I run around with G18 almost all my bullets register - usually kill someone with the first ~3 bullets at close range (if it wasn't for the range limitations I'd just run around with it always) whereas AK12, L85A2, AEK, MTAR, etc. really struggle with hit registry as can be seen reflected in my weapon stats - http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf4/soldier/msrp24/weapons/917377806/pc/

:D

I still think of the discord server as "nexus's BDSM torture dungeon" :p

Going for the Inno3D Hybrid.

This week only deal.

*and ordered, with luck be sent tonight for delivery tomorrow.

GPUs with AIO coolers are fantastic. I have installed one on my MSI and it's bloody brilliant. It's so quiet under load that unless you have decent fans already installed on your cpu and case you'll find them intrusive in comparison. Best of all you'll have no thermal throttling issues at all. The inno3d has the biggest vrm heatsinks on them also and a plate covering the vram modules to help keep everything even cooler, it's a great card.

Cheers Twirly, I was apprehensive as I've only ever had EVGA SC models, but all the reviews I saw looked great. the card seems to hit 55C at full load which is impressive.

I ordered it at 4:06pm, hopefully OcUK won't mind me being 6mins over the cut off. Have spoke to Damo, he can't promise but said it's been printed. With luck and a following wind it will arrive tomorrow.

My full custom loop laughs at at your AIO cooler, unless it's a really hot day, doesn't even need fans on :D

edit...that said when I used to have a AMD cpu and gtx580 under water that could not be said.
