The Battlefield 4 Thread 2015

Rip off rounders edition. Hopefully the AIB partners with custom cooler will release at a more sensible price.

I hope around 550 price for likes of MSI or GB, and I'll get one for sure. And hopefully we will get some games packed with them too as this Founders edition dont even have that.

Ideally BF1 :D

Haz was telling me his driving isn't impacted while under the influence so I thought I would dig up this gem. There's a nice cameo from sidewinder as well :D

If that is the only one you have on video then I'm rather lucky. I can't remember if I had been drinking before hand either.

I've seen hazard stuck the LAV on flood zone at least 3 times...so its his signature move, and I don't thing he was under influence those times....:D

You never really seemed to like BF4, more of a BF3 player from what I saw, and as much as I liked the division in places, the grind and the hackers made it a limited run for me.

I've always been an infy player, I guess it stems from my early days playing COD. When I first played Battlefield there was a nice balance between vehicle warfare and infantry play where those with skill ruled the ground or open skies.

BF4 killed infy gameplay for me, Demize added too many weird gun mechanics which was much worse than BF3.

One example is whilst trying to SRAW or shoot someone whilst under suppression from a rhib boat across the map or a guy shooting from a wall on the other side of the room your reticule would sway terribly. Vehicles became the only viable option and "Tankfield" is what the game became after a while which made me start to lose interest.

Map designs were horrible also for Rush - my favourite gamemode. I could list all the problems I had with BF4 but I'd be repeating what I've probably mentioned elsewhere in the thread.

Less is definitely more when it comes to Battlefield. They have chased COD sales and sacrificed gameplay as a result but people enjoy the game and preorder so in EA's and their shareholder's eyes they will continue to go down that trend.

It's the vehicles that makes me enjoy BF more than COD. I started out playing crysis power struggle which is a bit like BF conquest before I played COD4, enjoyed the vehicles in BC2 as well.

I like to play infy as well though, but preferably not if my team's vehicles aren't doing their job. Played an awful lot of metro too to my shame.

DICE dropped the ball with BF4 Rush. I think conquest is more the natural game for BF, but rush can work well and was great fun in BC2. I think they were trying to take on COD with obliteration in BF4 though and messed up rush.

I see where you come from when you say vehicles are OP, I am more of a hybrid player, I like to be on the foot most of the time but every now and then I jump into a vehicle if abandoned on spawn.

Kiwi on the other had is a diferent beast as seen on this report :D
