Yup I must say it was good to be back last night 
Oh how I have missed the rage in chat I'll need to get my loadout for guns/gadgets and vehicles sorted later on, still have the comp. team UK stuff equipped, thermals YUCK! Zoom FTW!
BTW that wasn't potato, thought it was, similar name, although he is part of the same clan as potato i.e. casual farmers
Be on around 7/8.

Yup I must say it was good to be back last night
I think I'll stick to thermals myself. Didn't stop me getting some sweet TOWs in last night, and I don't tend to have a problem judging main gun distance shots without zoom, it's just the HMG that benefits from zoom as far as I can tell.
He or she is still a bad bad person. lol'd when they rage quit after being kicked from the squad!
Edit: In case Smrtka is reading this: You'd do well in a squading up with fluphy_bunny, you're both good infantry players who PTFO

And yeah HMG is why I prefer zoom, it is too good for picking of those people who head glitch or sit far away with javs etc. especially on maps like rogue around the hills at d flag. I should really change it up depending on the map though as thermals on zavod is far better than zoom but 1: I like playing infy on that map and 2: I cba going through the loadout to change it

I think we actually managed to get the better of him the other day on lancang. kiwi was just about managing to push him back from D to E, which gave me the chance to flank him from C with a lav TOW. Still didn't get a kill, but we kept him at bay and won the round. Zavod didn't go as well, got my LAV 4 times from his tank, even when I got the surprise TOW in first. He had a repper though, I didn't.

Yeah you need a repper when going against those guys, they will always have one and usually have the other players in the other vehicles help out if they get into any trouble.

Sabot is probably the best choice for the main gun (zoom or no zoom), HMG is the secondary.
The real choice is whether to run either auto-reloader, reactive armour, or thermal camo.
Sabot is the main shell and HMG is the secondary, you can use both.
Either sabot or AP shells, I prefer sabot for the fast velocity & less drop. Could always swap depending on map i.e. sabot for golmud and AP for more infy focused maps where the extra splash damage would be better i.e. zavod
HMG all the time (tap fire in 1-2 bullet bursts), coaxial LMG is poop and any one who uses staff shell deserves a place in hell!

I've seen a lot of the farmers switch to thermal camo instead of reactive armour as it really does make it harder to spot under INVR or FLIR, (Especially with flares and fires going on) and I believe it makes it harder to obtain a lock with jav/LAW/SOFLAM etc, and may also unspot faster.
I tend to use reactive as well, but it doesn't make any difference with some projectiles, so I've been considering a switch to the thermal camo.

BF 3 was lucky in that way, it wasn't blessed with that abomination
IIRC, the main battle tank secondary only had guided shell and canister shell and the co LMG + HMG (even more beastly in bf 3 
)Hmm, I might try it out again then... I thought the only thing that it impacted was the length of time it took for lock ons, unspotting quicker would be a nice bonus.
I switched to auto-loader a while back when their was a glitch with it and AP shells but noticed that I got a lot more critical/mobility hits, which is pretty bad as you are a sitting duck then.
A lot more seem to run fire extinguisher now too ever since the AP nerf. I still keep AP for tanks but now fire exting. for the love boat.

We had some nice infy action on our beloved flood zone last night too
If Tony joins us too, we should definitely have a vehicle squad and a infy squad. Fluphy, Smrtka, and Tony would be very difficult to shift from a flag if running a medic train together. Add any engineers that didn't get a ride to that (with mines and an RPG), and even the vehicles might back off.

very slim chance ill be joining to be honest Haz, my love affair with BF4 went a long time ago. After that BS that went on with my account, then grinding all the way to **** bucket again, that was enough for me. Think the next time I play BF will be in October for the new one.
