Work has had me over the country and its been soooo busy! Finishing at 1800, home for 1900 followed by dinner and collapsing in a heap!! I'm training away all next week so won't even be able to get close to gaming until Saturday

Why? I'm at 1440p and want high frame rates in BF1. In other non FPS games I'll want all the good stuff and high frame rates.
I don't have to worry about VRAM anymore vs my 970s, and a single 1070 wouldn't give a noticeable difference in performance in BF games over my current 970s.
I should now be able to run BF4 with all the graphics turned up at 144 fps, the only reason I won't is that too much eye candy is distracting.

I should be around after 1600 Saturday assuming I'm not dragged into doing something else. Must admit though, been having a few Portal 2 sessions with my brother which have been nothing short of hilarious!!

Might have to give my 1070s a taste of GTA, they seemed to work pretty well in BF4, except that in the training range I was only getting 90fps on low for pro and the fans weren't spinning up. Set everything on ultra and they woke up and the fps increased.
