May have lost my head on a PTG server lol, spawned in the LAV, within 5 seconds an enemy heli came into our spawn, I killed it, then I get KIA and a message saying I was camping in a vehicle. Suffice to say I wasn't too happy :p
 
Died to a LAV exploding earlier... was playing Zavod at the D flag the LAV was somewhere slightly outside the building towards the E flag and I was down in the underground bit about midway between the openings either side of D.

I think they've managed to pretty much kill the BF franchise.

there are workarounds to get it fixed.. few cG guys had to do it with the natural colors config... im on 8 so didnt have any problems!

When you go to the download page they actually provide a link. Worked fine for me, with afterburner overlay running. I decided it was crap so ended up reverting back but there is no reason why you can't run this with Win 8.1 on BF4.

I love it - brings out my not so inner COD player. Don't find aquiring targets that easy in maps like zavod but something like operation locker I'm bang on.

yeah got it working fine now Kiwi, just had to get a set with EFX

Oh SweetFX how I've missed you..my colours are once more alive :) :)

GG's tonight! Much rage especially from those OST guys :D Love chatbox but think I may have to start hiding it during game, spending far too much time reading and posting in it :(

Guy was a decent enough pilot but nowhere in the same league as the likes of joe, westie etc. I love how he thinks he is a jet pro and only had 19-4 (for that map and in an attack jet is pretty **** considering westie, joe can go 40+ kills and 0-3 deaths) and the rest of his stats are meh for a jet whore/pro


Quite enjoyed that server we were on which had rush as well, nice having a change in game mode :)


Really liking the m416 atm, having a quick reload is great :cool:


5 crashes tonight, bf 4 has stopped working, 3 during map change and 2 during a game...
 
Thats one thing I suck at (jets) :S got nice footage of a guy that was fairly competent the other day though (not actually sure he wasn't cheating aim wise but his flying skills were decent none the less).

I can take tanks, boats, helis etc. down easily enough in 1-2 passes by and decent enough in dog fighting (against noobs that is :p), however, I CBA with any aircraft due to:

- AA, mainly because of the activ radar
- stinger/igla warriors that just spend the entire match in a bush/corner somewhere (which increases dramatically if you are doing well i.e. when on floodzone, kill about 15 people camping on roofs and around b and c and then they come back with stingers etc. and you have got 7+ lockons.....)
- countermeasures take forever to reload

So essentially spend most of your time escaping lock ons, waiting for CM to reload, going in circles trying to lose a jet etc.

Definitely my worse area in this game though, infantry being my best followed by tanks/aa and then helis.
 
Won't lie my best area of the game is running and gunning in lockers with a SVD :S do a fairly competent job in the LB though - its not pretty but stuff dies until I run into the MAA or some random bit of scenery I hadn't anticipated.

EDIT: Decided to upload the footage I was talking about earlier - nothing special as such but it shows the engine off well visually (not me flying):

80fps average on a stock gtx 780 here, game maxed on ultr settings, x4 msaa at 1920x1200. Cpu at 4.5ghz, ram clocked from 2400mhz 2t to 2600mhz 1t. My system runs this game with ease. Oc is boringly reliable now, yes it took a while but it handles bf4 fine.
 
^^ Didn't see that comment before but 1080p full ultra I get around 90-100fps average with a heavy GPU overlock and CPU at only 4.4GHz.

I usually use a mixed ultra, low config now though for best visual clarity and hold 125fps pretty solid.
 
Rroff, my 780 is at stock, 1097mhz boost on the core. I never run the card oc'd in games as it will only hit 1189mhz core, (bit mediocre for a 780). On ultra x4msaa it will drop into the high 50's on certain maps. But ill drop a lot of settings to do away with that. Im still on a very old 60Hz lcd, (in sig) mainly because there are no decent all round monitors to replace it with.
