It shouldn't. Been rock solid for me. Just because one user is having issues, doesn't mean that the OS is the root cause.

I know but knowing my luck, I will have problems with the game once I do a fresh install etc.

I've screenshotted the config you posted Nexus, used the confirgurator and loaded the preset that way, much easier than doing the prof.save stuff.

Hmmm, everything runs fine, BF4 included, its just Sweet FX that dont play ball...

It's about time they nerfed the damn LAW, it's so annoying coming up against groups of enemies using these when I'm in a tank. While they're at it hope they nerf the staff shell too...

want to do the latest one you posted nexus..ive got Sweetfx 1.4 and 1.5 files, just need to find a 64dll i think that works. Wanna talk me through how you got it working?

No need to download the stuff separately or a 64 bit dll, just download this:

Extract to bf 4 folder where the bf 4.exe is and it should work.

Make sure fraps isn't running and if you encounter crashes etc.

FIX: If your game wouldn't launch or gave you an error, try to replace these files with the files that where in my sweetfx folder.

Just got up and running again after various hardware issues over the last 2 weeks, fired up the test range with DX 13.12 driver and im getting a stutter corresponding with a cpu spike?
Is this just me or happening to all now? This did not happen before for me.

Update: never mind the core hadnt unparked even though i used a proggy to do it.

nope same problem i always get trying it with my BF4 Nexus, it says missing this d3d11.dll file. This is the only game I have never been able to get Sweetfx working on. Pretty frustrating

This is why I said it doesnt play nice with Windows 8.1. I read on the Guru and Sweetfx pages that it's because Windows 8.1 has DX11.2.

I have to put SweetFX through RadeonPro with all my other games to make SweetFX work with them on Windows 8.1 but I can't even get success trying that technique for BF4. I'm just waiting for SweetFX to work with Windows8.1 Apparently the guru guys are working on it now.

Yup it is fine. All my game sweet fx configs vary with the total amount of files, some could only have 5 where as another could have 15 in total

Works fine for westie on w8 as well

this is why I said it might be a AMD thing specific to Windows 8.1 mate. I've seen hundreds of posts on varioius forums, this is the one error that everyone seems to get using Sweetfx with Windows 8.1 on every game. You can get around it by injecting sweetfx into RadeonPro and launching the game through there which I do for all my games. But even that does not work for BF4.
