Makes competitive play a bit of a joke.

The supression system is pretty messed up to - just got to see how it actually works due to spectating someone who was full on cheating - insta-snap, perfect tracking but it struggled with being supressed which gave me some insight into how its actually working. No wonder theres so many complaints about hit reg (which is bad) when you can be firing accurately at someone or think you are but actually your shots are going way way off so that you can't even spot the bullet impacts if your watching the background behind your target.
 
I remember playing cs 1.6 at a reasonable level years ago, hit reg being a joke at times and ping coming into it. This game is miles off that standard and too broken to be fun for infantry playing seriously/competitively. Then again, this game isn't just about infantry...

The hit reg in CS was fine if you knew where to shoot (hit box often lagged behind visual model) could be a little problematic sometimes but was mostly dealable with - in BF4 even if you know roughly where the hit box (its a bit more closer to the geometry of the player model than a box I believe) is theres no guarantee your shots will have any effect. Getting a bit tired of it being so messed up that grenades thrown sometimes over a second before hand just dissapear as the server thinks your dead before your client threw them :|

I've switched to eng and using vehicles more as a result of it even though I prefer infantry/assault class.
 
If you infantry guys think Inf is bad and you have gotten into vehicles just think how bad it's been for Atk chopper hoes...beep beep beep

Going to be playing in a bit, your best bet is to see if anyone is on the unofficial OcUK TS. Best servers are Corsair, MhSV, OcG, ADK, Scan, BattlefieldHome and dunno for HC, that mode is just broken beyond belief atm...friendly team dorito's...what dorito's
 
Since the recent patch the blue tags take longer to appear for me than before :( I thought it was supposed to fix that, but I'm not seeing the performance slow downs other people are seeing.
 
Same zero performance drop for me... game is still smooth as.. New jets are nice too just waiting for mantle now!

Set mine away to do a repair install (on a brand new install on a brand new SSD) as something has gone **** up after the patch and I have nothing else left to change :rolleyes:

Barely bother using them they feel that unbalanced. On publics, so many people must have switched to opting to use the lb and even getting to grips more with the boats as an alternative.
