I mainly use Laser guideds for taking out ground targets, stick to the 20mm for everything else. Actives are worth a go if you are just going after other aircraft.
 
The active radar are good for people like me who struggle with the guns. The whole flaring thing makes them hard work compared to using the guns if you're any good with them however.

you think that one's bad, wait till you try the perfect landing assignment. I was ready to punch people doing that one. Worst thing about it ? all you get at the end is a crap dog tag !

But hey, its an assignment so it has to be done :D
 
GG's again! Finishing the night of with another completely dead server, I blame Joe!


Gord was trolling me on hainan with the stealth jet, about to engage a boat/LAV and beep beep beep beep, had me raging! :mad:


Those guys were super mad at me in the tank and aa on siege and zavod, I didn't have to go far on zavod as they all came to me :D AA with zunis and 30mm = god mode, took out like 6+ engis with mbt law etc. and an LAV with a repper lol, they just kept charging at me all the time on that map, eventually got me with the MBT tank! Just kept spawn bombing on whoever was left, moments like that is where I wish I recorded my gameplay :(

And regarding the AA, very close to 2nd position in the UK for it now YAY

I went back to laser guided on stealth jets now so I can help a bit with tanks and boats, find I don't really need heatseekers when you got that beast of a 20mm cannon!

So frustrating being against a decent stealth pilot when in the attack jet, just get owned by them, so much more agile and able to out turn you easily

Don't know if I'll be on tomorrow since naval strike is on Tuesday so will probably be playing most of Tuesday and possibly Wednesday depending on how good the maps are.....

edit:

when the enemy team get base raped on lockers especially if they are on the RU side, get the SUAV out, MUCH fun to be had :p :D

I order our new server and get this:

We are experiencing DDoS attacks on all of our IP subnets in the UK location. They are all nullrouted by the datacenter for now. There is no ETA to get everything back online for now.

Thats how much the DLCs cost unless you buy premium. Premium gets you them 2 weeks early in addition to giving you a discount on buying them all in bulk.
 
Let's hope Naval Strike is finally worth the initial outlay because all of the battlepacks and other 'premium' content was not.
