Well I switched to mantle for the last few games there and much better, don't think I seen the fps drop below 75, def. felt smoother. Have yet to try it on all of the new maps though, just a shame I can't use sweetfx with mantle

Yup it is great!
Nice having the extra FOV for infantry but it is so much better for vehicle gameplay especially aircraft!
I bought it more for the films though, soooo damn good for it:
Really wish it had freesync though, hate vsync option in games!
BTW, regarding the bulldog, it will seem really **** at first, that is because of the iron sights, just seems like your bullets don't go anywhere that you want them to, once you get a scope on, enjoy the new beast

Guys need HELP, can't launch BF4 haven't played for couple weeks but last night bought Premium, when I press "join server" BF.exe is loading but then all it does is showing white/mirror screen in window mode.
Tried origin fix, C++ download, running as admin and compability mode, reinstall directX, disable firewall and antivirus, update PB and add bf4 there.
Nothing seems to help. futher I could get is to black screen and loading but MSI showed 0.00fps and I checked MSI afterburner that GPU clocks are at idle.
Any suggestions? (BF3 premium runs perfect)

Not impressed with the new maps at all tbh. Spawn camped on two of them with absolutely no cover at the spawn point = pathetic level design. The maps are also too damn big imo for just infantry only and have clearly been designed with the light vehicles in mind with big open areas with no cover which you are forced to advance through, making snipers always end up with the highest scores.

Spawns without cover and alternative routes out is inexcusable, not being able to cover open ground without dealing with snipers though is player error
I wish the later was true, but every single server I've been on tonight has used a sniper limit and just had smacktards filling the spots instead of counter sniping so we could move forward. Got absolutely slaughtered on each game due to it. Not fun at all imo.
Why can't they release maps that are like close quarters in BF3? Much more fun as far as infantry only is concerned.
I was partly being factitious as I've got kind of good at almost accidentally dealing with snipers either with other weapon or counter sniping. (tickles me a bit to wing off a shot without any real attempt at judging it and take out someone who is taking sniping seriously).
The one thing I would like to change is the apparent majority view that the only legit play style is Assault with an assault rifle. I'm not as good as the twitch cqb kids so I play the way I think I can contribute best, either DMR or LMG midrange picking off who I can. Seems to elicit some nerd rage sometimes though!
Myself and 2 mates had exactly same issue and for 3 of us turning off Origin ingame fixed it.
Right click BF4 logo in Origin and make sure its set to 64 bit and turn off Ingame.

After using the Deagle in CTE for the last month or so going back to vanilla and the Magnum just isn't cutting it.....

Its a bit of a grind as well depending on how good you are headshots.
