You may want to try it again. It's a monster at short to medium range. Not sure if you can really compare an LMG to Assault Riffle.

My MG4 with red dot coyote, green laser, and angled grip is an absolute monster at any range. Half the time I don't even need to ADS and I kill 6-7 people in one go on normal let alone HC!
 
My infantry play has certainly improved since turning vsync off (maybe playing lots of hours of Dragons Teeth maps helped too) and the FPS has increased (jumps around 90-130). Not sure what has changed but without vsync on before, I was getting terrible screen tearing, more than I could put up with. Now though there is very very little tearing when it's off. Dunno what changed.

Easy to answer...You started playing the game rather than looking at it ;)
 
I may have been a witness to that cheating.

I may also have been a participant to get the Unica which I keep getting headshots with and it not registering on the battle log.
