It's really not hard to get the Deagle, a round or two in a pistol only server and I got it. Not really going for headshots either and had great fun while doing it.
I love that pistol only server, the weapon restriction makes for way more flowing games. Never get bogged down like a normal Lockers game.

surely thats the whole point about LMGs ? They use a larger caliber bullet that fires further than traditional 5.56 rounds.
If you want to shoot long range with an assault rifle you really need a DMR which are select fire and use LMG 7.76 rounds.
The tradeoff with assault rifles isn't range. Its rate of fire. Up close no matter what LMG you have the MTAR and the like will shred you.
Which should be true but sadly often isn't the case due to the way the suppression spam and ***** "netcode" works.

Played on a DICE test server last night, hit reg seemed great, they had implemented some fixes but didn't tell us what they were. Only that "something big is happening to air vehicles soon".
Have recorded it, will see what it looks like today and may upload it.

EDIT: Or the C4 bug where you could spawn, lay down loads of C4, respawn on other side and hit the triggerTo which you would see the chat light up with KIWI CHEATER, KIWI CHEATER ROFL

Ask anyone in the military, LMG's are designed to supress the enemy not actually kill them. They have little accuracy unless they are mounted like on a real life RAWR or on a gunship boat.
Yes they will hit at long range but BF4 is nothing like real life with regard to LMGs.
A dmr is loosely based on an assualt rifle not a sniper rifle, just an assault with more length. Whilst for example in BF4 an SVD is a DMR, it is actually a proper sniper rifle that just happens to fire at semi auto.
It is all rather silly really as any gun from a .22 to a .50 sniper rifle is going to severely hinder/murder anyone who recieves a round from it IRL.
MG4 is more effective than the MTAR due to large caliber and the way BF4 works. You have to hit someone around 12x with mtar to kill whereas mg4 it takes 4...but the mtar is not 3x as fast as an mg4.
I go through 8-9 people with the MG4 easily without even aiming down its site, just spray and pray.
MTAR does minimum 15.4 damage so at most it would be 7 shots to kill. But if you're using an MTAR you would (should) be at much closer range where it needs only 4-5 shots to kill.
