I used it the other night on the DICE test server, was pretty funny tbh, strong little thing :D

You can sneak up on guys and just mow them all down.

there's a serious amount of work going into BF4 from DICE LA.

Problem is however, EA and DICE are in damage control mode and trying to prove a point that they can listen to fans, do community interaction and fix the game.

What happens when we move onto battlefield hardline however? will DICE LA just move onto something else and everything go back to the way it is ?

Most likely I suspect.

They could start by opening the CTE up to non premium players. I think if they could get the main game running like the CTE then there would be little in the way of 'net code' issues to fix. Ofcause they can always up the tick rate but the last time I played CTE it felt spot on and that was a couple of months ago.
 
i think bf hardline will flop hard and bf4 will be pretty stable by then so people will just play bf4.

hardline is utter pish.

I played it for about 5mins and went back to BF4. It's a shame because releasing overpriced crappy products only hurts the franchise.

I don't see what openning up CPTE to non premium players does.

Yes some purple feel left out because they aren't premium, but frankly, DICE doesn't need everybody to get a good broad cross section of opinion. Just look in the battlelog forums as to how many have premium and you can see you have a real mix of both level headed normal people, and the normal idiots you get on battlelog.

Dice needs to hear the voice of some of the community, but doesn't necessarily need it from them all.

Have you seen the state of the CTE servers lately? The last time I checked they were basically empty. DICE need to open it up to get more players in.

I do think there needs to be more in CTE tbh, Quite often there is only one busy EU server and one half full EU server, then a load of empty ones.

Then theres the times they close all but one server and say, 'can you stress test this server please' and it ends up having a queue of 10 people lol.

CTE has been dead since DT was released.
