got a problem with it, followed instructions on the website, uninstalled old drivers etc, loaded the new ones, now when i try to get into options BF4 stops working :(

noticed someone on the battlelog forums said they resolved it by disabling there integrated graphics, wtf have amd done :confused:

Do stats update every so-often throughout the game?

Getting really tired of CTD since the patch came out, and the annoying sound bug too.


On another note, related to bipods, are they going to be fixed? If you are killed and then revived, the bipod will not deploy, at least until you respawn.
 
I've noticed there is a lot more to the latest patch then is in the release notes.

May be I'm imagining things, but have they improved the FX in the game? Sparks and fire looks a lot more impressive now.
 
anyone else lost their performance increase from the latest patch??

i mentioned before that my gpu was underclocking itself as a result of the optimization.

now its back to running at max frequency and gpu usage is up.

i was able to play at max setting and my gpu was still underclocking itself!

it would drop down to 700 odd mhz on parcel storm for example.

gpu usage would be 80-90% but when it did go up to say 1100mhz GPU usage would drop to 30-40%.

now its at 1254 mhz and at around 70% usage for some reason.

AMD or Nvidia? I would say performance has increased on my 670.

LOL what, this is more powerful than an AEK. AEK 4 hit kill range is up to 8mtrs, AS Val is 4 hit kill up to 30mtrs. It is completely OP!!!

Mtar got it's AR bullets changed back to Carbine style in the latest patch and bear in mind bullpup weapons have really bad ADS accuracy :D

Hmm, maybe I need to give it another try then!

Couldn't get on with it last night at all after using the aek....


The 20/21 bullets really kills it for me though :(

Installed the new 14.1 drivers and game loads, but when trying to access the options menu, BF4 stops working. Put 13.12 back on for now until it gets sorted out for the 7900 series!!

Anyone get their 7900's to work on mantle?

edit : it's doing the same on 13.12 now....arggggghhhhhh!

edit 2 : Quick Google and Disabling the integrated GPU fixes the crash! All working now going to try 14.1............

That spawning/getting in vehicle passenger seat crashing bug is very annoying :mad:

Think I'll just have to stick to the aa and infantry only for now.....
