Afraid it will still have the lag associated with IPS. In saying that I do miss my DELL but all I use my monitor for is FPS so no issue. I really hope they combine ULMB with GSYNC as that would be the ultimate IMO. ULMB feels more 'twitchy' than GSYNC but the tearing like any normal 120hz/144hz screen is terrible.

If they could combine ULMB with GSYNC it would be perfect.

kiwi, lag and motion clarity is a non-issue now, the acer IPS 144HZ gsync review:

Personally I have never noticed input lag with my dell u2311h and 29um65, only the motion clarity/response time has bothered me.

Don't think I can hold out much longer for IPS/VA 34" 1440 free/g sync, the samsung is tempting me big time atm

I enjoyed mynights rage towards me at the end, that's how I felt with nexus in the damn jet killing me all the time. Think we did really well that game.

I'd be all over that samsung aswell nexus but 60hz makes me die inside... I even hate moving the mouse around in desktop when changing gfx drivers... 60hz really is dog turd

Don't take this the wrong way Nexus but for 60hz vs 120hz you really need to try it to see the benfits.

The Acer looks very nice though - Maybe I'll preorder it

I dropped from 144hz to 60hz in a short test today, it felt like my entire system was lagging :eek:

Best upgrade ever, bar the GTX 980

Some epic games last night. Taking out Nexus's tank in a tank battle was a first for me. I think he got his own back at least 3 times though (Dat jet).

Some good vehicle stealing going on as well. Captains should go down with their ships!!

I still stand by my conclusion that playing against each other sucks!

That Langcam round almost had me turning off my PC! I like going tagless and without the OcUK logo - less rage/hate towards "clan stack" guff

Think we should all run it tonight! Hassle free undercover server wrecking!

I thought it was fun, but I was lucky enough to be on the winning side most of the time and I'm sure that wasn't down to my presence.

LOL no. Hardcore is totally messed up in this game IMO. Classic is a fair compromise. I almost exclusively play normal.

The XDC lads like a bit of HC.
