Half the time I can't hit a tank with a sniper rifle. When on top of the building with Josh on SoS last night I managed about 2 - 3 sniper kills.

yeaahhhhh so that's why the files have been renamed to "." or shopped out ;) we all know it's 4k porno...but at a few gigs must only be the 5 min samples? .... not that I have any experience in this area, just going off what... urmm... I've heard and on wikipedia.....yeahh.... :p
 
I don't have 4k so I have to stick to 1080p pr0n0.

Number 2 completed so now downloading TF whilst I watch it...

I get about 600 - 700 KB/s down most days.

Hopefully it will be released in the morning / early afternoon to give me some time to get it downloaded.
 
That isn't bad for ADSL. I used to get 420kB/s maximum... downloading a 12gb game was one of those "go out for a day" jobs, now it takes me 45 mins! And I can still stream iPlayer or use Firefox whilst it does it compared to bandwidth saturation on ADSL. Really suprised Cornwall is 80odd percent faster than the rest of the country. Nothing compared to Hyperoptic Metro Ethernet in London though... I am hoping that makes it's way to Liverpool/Manchester so a leased line won't cost me too much to connect to a 1gbit node when I move house!

Its...unfortunate that people inflate their ping to kill more stuff
Not blaming you but the game should penalise high pings not encourage them.

This is why using team speak gives you more kills, more lag. Plus you can use tactics better.
 
I find I get less kills using TS3...because of having to constantly alt tab to see what MrtooPoortobuyaMICnexus keeps typing in chat :P
 
Ive always found in bf games, players with the high pings are at the disadvantage. Im on adsl here, usually at 70ms ping in game. Die quite a lot, play it on my nephews setup, (much lower spec system) on fibre optic, difference is unbelievable.

In my experience, the lower the ping the better! Can't stand any little bit of rubber banding/lag :mad:
